Today i.e. February 04, 2019 Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2018 for computer based examination. Till now admit card for the Western, Eastern, Madhya Pradesh and Southern Regions has been released and in a while on the other regional website the admit card will be available. For fetching the admit card candidates need to mention the roll number/registered id number, date of birth and exam center code on the login page.
There are total 09 regional websites. In remaining 05 regional websites (Northen, Central, Karnataka, North West, North East Regions) the admit card need to be uploaded. After fetching the SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2018 candidates should take the print out of it as for all the candidates is mandatory to carry a hard copy of admit card on the day of the examination. In the admit card candidate’s name, fathers name, roll number, exam name, center code, examination address, signature etc are mentioned. After downloading the admit card candidates should also check the details mentioned on it. If in the admit card any incorrect detail is mentioned then immediately contact the commission.
Along with the admit card candidates also need to carry one valid photo identity proof (aadhar card, pan card, voter id card, passport etc.) on the day the SSC GD Examination 2018. In online examination total, 100 objective type questions will be asked. Duration of the exam will be of 90 minutes only. Each question will carry 01 marks.
Minimum qualifying marks for general or ex-servicemen is 35 and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates is 33%. The candidates who will score the minimum qualifying marks those will be selected for the physical efficiency test (PET) and physical standard test (PST). The candidates who will qualify the PET and PST those will be shortlisted for detailed medical examination (DME).
About SSC GD – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the General Duty Constable examination to recruit candidates whose educational qualification is Matric Level in the various forces. The forces in which the candidates get entry after selection are BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, NIA, SSF. This year through this examination total 54,953 candidates will be recruited. For the selection proper physical measurement is another important aspect. The candidate who will match all the criteria laid down by SSC will be selected later. The candidates are selected on the basis of Computer Based Test, followed by Physical Measurement Test/ Physical Efficiency Test, and Detailed Medical Examination. Qualifying in each stage separately is mandatory to get the entry in the selected force.
