SSC Phase 6 Result

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced result of Phase 6 Selection Post Examination at ssc.nic.in. Three separate write ups and three separate result files have been published for SSC Phase 6 Result 2019 for matriculation level, higher secondary level, and graduation and above levels. Those who have been shortlisted for scrutiny must now send copy of supporting documents by June 14, 2019.

In order to check result, candidates have to visit ssc.nic.in. Then scroll down to click Results link that appears in top menu. At result page, click on Others in third menu. Here, top three rows in result table are for “Phase-VI/2018 Selection Post Examination – Declaration of Result of Computer Based Examinations for next stage of scrutiny”. In these rows, candidates can click on click here button against write up and result files of that exam which they took.

Candidates can separately view following for SSC Phase 6 Result 2019

As was previously notified in recruitment notification, cut off for SSC Phase 6 selection is 35% (70 marks) for UR, 30% (60 marks) for OBC, and 25% (50 marks) for all other reserved category candidates.

For Matriculation level posts, 210601 candidates applied, 55594 appeared, and 4784 shortlisted for scrutiny. Likewise for Higher Secondary level posts, 74462 candidates applied, 17554 appeared, and 2093 shortlisted for scrutiny. Then for Higher Graduation and above level posts, 152079 candidates applied, 32242 appeared, and 8490 shortlisted for scrutiny.

The number of shortlisted candidates, subject to getting cut off marks, were determined by calling candidates in ratio 1:20 of vacancies up to 5, and 1:10 subject to minimum 100 vacancies for more than 5.

Shortlisted candidates need to send documents that support educational qualification, experience, category, age, age-relaxation, and all other applicable ones as hard copy. They also need to send print out of online application form. These documents need to be sent to respective regional or sub-regional office to which post-category candidate belongs. Deadline of receipt of documents is within 3 (three) weeks. Also, these must be sent by speed post only.

SSC has also published list of such candidates whose candidature have been cancelled. This list is present in the result writeups. Such candidatures have been cancelled for candidates who have appeared more than once for that level of exam.

Wherever there were ties in SSC Phase 6 Result, it was resolved on basis of marks in computer based exam, then marks in part A, then marks in part B, then date of birth, and then alphabetical order of names.

SSC will also hold skill tests for such posts where skill test is necessary. They will be conducted for shortlisted candidates only who send their documents. Such candidates will get requisite information on skill tests at ssc.nic.in and regional websites.

Staff Selection Commission had released the Phase VI Selection Posts Recruitment 2018-2019 notification in September of last year for over 1100 vacancies. Whereas computer based test was held from January 16 to 18, 2019, for Matriculation level. It was held for Higher Secondary, Graduation and above levels on January 17 and 18, 2019.
