An important notice is recently published by Staff Selection Commission online regarding the extension of SSC CHSL application form submission. The conducting body of CHSL has decided to extend the last date for the submission of SSC CHSL 2020 application form. Earlier, applicants were asked to submit applications before December 15, 2020. Candidates can now submit the online applications for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) before December 19, 2020, through ssc.nic.in.
As per the notice uploaded on the website, the Staff Selection Commission has provided 04 more days to the candidates to apply. Lately, aspirants have reported some technical difficulties while submitting the SSC CHSL application form. Candidates were unable to access the official website of Staff Selection Commission for registration/ application form submission. Acknowledging the difficulties faced by them, SSC has now extended the last date to apply up to December 19, 2020.
Other than the application date, SSC has also extended the last date to pay the fee. Candidates can now pay the application fee via online mode by December 21, 2020. Those who are paying the application fee through offline mode can generate challan by December 23, 2020. The last date to pay the application fee for SSC CHSL 2021 through challan is December 24, 2020.
To apply for the SSC CHSL application form, log on to the official website, ssc.nic.in. Then, click on the ‘new user? register now’ link present on the right side of the screen. Enter the basic details such as aadhar card number, type of id and id number, name of the candidate, father’s name, date of birth, roll number and others. Then they can proceed to submit additional and contact details. The last step is to upload the photo and signature after scanning. On successful registration, submit the SSC CHSL 2021 application form.
While applying, candidates also have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-. They can pay the fee via SBI challan, BHIM UPI, Net Banking, RuPay Credit or Debit card. SC/ ST/ EWS/ Women applicants are exempted from the fee submission.
Moreover, only eligible candidates can submit their applications for SSC CHSL 2021. Those who are applying for LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG) should have passed 12th class. To submit applications for Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’), aspirants must have passed 12th class with Mathematics or Science Stream. They must have completed the minimum age limit of 18 years. Also, their age should not be more than that of 27 years.
