SSC CGL Tier 2 Answer Key 2020 Released at ssc.nic.in – Know How to Download and Submit Objection by 15 Feb

Representations in respect of the tentative Answer Keys, if any, may be submitted online

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the official answer keys for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination tier 2, for the SSC CGL 2020 exam, today, on February 11, 2022. Candidates who had appeared in the exam can access the link given in the notification hosted at ssc.nic.in in order to check the answer keys, as well as submit objections. The deadline for objection submission is February 15, 2022.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Answer Key 2020

SSC had conducted the second level exam for CGL 2020 recruitment on January 28 and 29. Now, less than two weeks after the exam, they have released the answer keys. The answer keys contain questions asked in exam, their options, as well as correct answers.

How to download the answer key?

In order to download the answer keys, candidates need to do the following:

Step-1. Go to ssc.nic.in.

Step-2: Click “Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys along with Candidates’ Response Sheets (s) of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-II) – 2020”.

Step-3: The notification opens. Click the link “Link for Candidates’ Response Sheet, Tentative Answer Keys and Submission of Representation”.

Step-4: The challenge system opens. Here, click the submit button.

Step-5: On the next page, click the link after “Representation about the answer key may be submitted through this system only”.

Step-6: Then the login page opens. Here, enter roll number and password. Then click login. The answer keys will be before you.

How to calculate marks using the answer key?

The exam consisted of four papers namely Paper-I: Quantitative Ability, Paper-II: English Language and Comprehension, Paper-III: Statistics, and Paper-IV: General Studies (Finance and Economics). While papers 1, 3, 4 had 100 questions of 200 marks, paper 2 had 200 questions of 200 marks. Further, the negative marking in papers 1, 3, 4 is 0.5 and that in paper 2 is 0.25.

Therefore, one can calculate marks using the following formula:

Marks in paper 1 = Total number of correct answers x 2 – Total number of correct answers x 0.5

Marks in paper 2 = Total number of correct answers x 1 – Total number of correct answers x 0.25

Marks in paper 3 = Total number of correct answers x 2 – Total number of correct answers x 0.5

Marks in paper 4 = Total number of correct answers x 2 – Total number of correct answers x 0.5

The notification reads:

Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys along with Candidates’ Response Sheets (s) of Combined Graduate Level Examination (TierII) – 2020

Tier-II of Combined Graduate Level Examination 2020 was conducted by the Commission from 28.01.2022 to 29.01.2022 at different centres all over the country.
The candidates Response Sheets along with the tentative Answer Keys are now available on the link given below. The candidates may login in the link provided below by using their Registration Login ID and Password.
Representations in respect of the tentative Answer Keys, if any, may be submitted online from 11.02.2022 (6.00 PM) to 15.02.2022 (6.00 PM) on payment of Rs.100/-per question/answer challenged. Representations received after 6.00 PM on 15.02.2022 will not be entertained under any circumstances.
The candidates’ may take a print out of their respective Response Sheets, as the same will not be available after the above specified time limit.
