SSC CGL 2018 Final Answer Key with Question Paper

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final answer keys along with the question paper for Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier I) 2018 on its website, ssc.nic.in. Although result of tier 1 was announced last month, and CGL tier 2 admit card have already started releasing, the commission has released final answer keys in order to make the examination more fair and transparent.

To download the answer key, candidates need to go to SSC’s online portal and search in the latest news section flashing as “Combined Graduate Level Examination 2018 Tier I – Uploading of final answers keys with the question paper”. Click on the pdf. In that notification, the login link for final key is given. Candidates can download the final answer key by logging in with their registration id and password. The facility to download the answer key will be available for a period of one month, i.e October 4, 2019.

The examination of tier I, 2018 was conducted by the commission from June 04 to 13, 2019. A total of 8.35 lakh candidates participated in the exam. The commission re-conducted the examination on June 19, 2019 and July 07, 2019 for few candidates.

The result of SSC CGL 2018-2019 tier 1 was announced on August 20, 2019. The commission found a one debarred candidate who had appeared in the examination whose result has not been processed.

Moreover, SSC has released separate cut-offs for three posts of assistant audit officer and assistant accounts officer (List-1), junior statistical officer in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (List-2) and all other posts (List-3).

The tier II examination is scheduled to be held from September 11 to 13, 2019. The admit card of the qualified candidates are being uploaded on the websites of the respective regional offices approximately. Each SSC is uploading the admit cards at least 07 days before the conduct of tier 2 exam. However, the candidates who are unable to download their admit cards, may contact the concerned regional offices immediately.

SSC CGL is a yearly exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission for various posts. Its popularity is owed to the fact that graduates can appear in it, and get a govt job.

The upcoming CGL tier 2 will have four papers. Paper I, II, III, and IV will respectively be quantitative abilities, english language and comprehension, statistics, general studies. They will have 100, 200, 100, 100 questions. Marks of the sections will be 200 each. There will be negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer in Paper II, and 0.5 for the rest. It is to be noted that paper IV will only be for those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-IV i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer. After SSC CGL tier 2, there will be SSC CGL tier 3. It will be a descriptive paper in English or Hindi comprising of essay, precis, letter, application.
