SRM Institute of Science and Technology has begun the slot-booking process for the SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering (SRMJEEE) 2021 Phase II today, June 23, 2021. Candidates who have successfully registered for the Phase II exam can book their slots on the official website srmist.edu.in. the last day to book the preferred slot is Friday, June 25, 2021. SRMJEEE 2021 Phase II examination is going to take place on June 29 and 30, 2021. Three separate slots shall be conducted on each day and candidates are instructed to appear for the exam in their respective slot timings.
To book their exam slots, candidates must first, visit the official website srmist.edu.in. On the official website, the slot-booking hyperlink shall be present which the candidates have to click. After accessing this link, candidates must enter their registered email ID and password for logging in. After signing in, aspirants must click on the ‘Book Slot’ option and choose the preferred date and time from the list available.
Candidates are advised to carefully select and re-verify the slot chosen before clicking on the ‘submit’ tab. After successfully booking the preferred slot, candidates are advised to take a screenshot of the booked page for their future use. In case of any queries, candidates can contact the authorities through the chat option displayed at the bottom-right corner of the official website.
To help candidates get accustomed to the Online Remote Proctored Exam (ORPE), SRM authorities shall be conducting a mock test on June 26 and 27, 2021. All candidates are expected to appear for this mock test to avoid any last-minute chaos. Only those aspirants who appear for the mock test using the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) shall be permitted to give the actual exam. Hence, candidates must install this browser as soon as possible before the scheduled mock test. Furthermore, the instructions for the mock test shall be available on the official website on June 25, 2021. They are advised to read those instructions carefully before the exam.
Candidates appearing for the SRMJEEE 2021 Phase II exam will also need to download their hall-tickets from the online application portal. The hall ticket or admit cards will contain the login credentials to access the entrance exam. However, during the mock test, each candidate’s login credentials shall be recorded in the exam portal. Hence, while attempting the actual exam, they can use those recorded credentials to access the test.
Aspirants who clear the SRMJEEE 2021 Phase II examination shall be eligible to apply for various B.Tech. courses at the three SRMIST institutions located at Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana. Qualified candidates shall be called for the counselling session as well as the admission process. Schedule for the same will be released after announcing the Phase II results.
