SRM Institute of Science and Technology is going to announce the result of SRMJEEE 2021 exam today. While the date of result declaration was provided beforehand, the exact time at which results will be announced have not yet been disclosed. A wave of confusion has candidates in its grips, as different sources claim different time at which results are anticipated.
The helpline number of SRM admission cell is 04427455510, which, thankfully, has been answering calls today. Anxiously waiting for their results, students have as a result called up this number several times since morning.

As per different candidates, the result time is going to be either 6 pm, or 8 pm. However some have also been told that result will be announced at night, after 8 pm. The range of time in which SRM can declare the results is quite a number of hours.
However some good has come out of today’s confusion – a few things are clear about the result announcement.
First is that SRMJEEE 2021 result will be sent via email also to candidates. Candidates will either get the direct link to check results on their email, or they will be directly told their rank. It may be noted that SRM has already sent emails with ranks to droppers based on their class 12 marks.
The second thing is that it is confirmed that result will be announced today. This holds significance because SRM is going to be one of the first few colleges to be announcing engineering entrance exam results this session; before this, Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham and VTU have announced their engineering entrance exam results. Moreover, today’s date is significant because VITEEE 2021 exam starts from tomorrow. It can be presumed that those who top ranks in SRMJEEE 2021 as per result announcement today, and who would not prefer VIT over SRM, may not appear in the VITEEE exam tomorrow.
Another crucial piece of information that candidates have shared is that droppers have already been sent ranks and choice filling link. While SRM did not make any announcement about this on the website, candidates have shared screenshots of their emails containing ranks. Thus, those who are not droppers, are assuming that cut offs in SRMJEEE 2021 may go up as some seats have already been filled as per class 12 marks.
In conclusion, the SRM has not provided any specific time for the result announcement. Hence, it can be announced anytime today. Students need to keep checking the official website srmist.edu.in, login at online admission portal, and email ids for updates.
