SRMJEEE 2021 Registration Ends Today

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology will be closing the registration window for SRMJEEE 2021 today. The engineering aspirants must apply for the exam at the official website srmist.edu.in.

Engineering aspirants across India may take note, that today, May 15, 2021, is the last date to apply for SRMJEEE 2021, phase 1. The engineering entrance exam is scheduled to be held in two phases. Today’s deadline is for phase 1 exam. Therefore the registration portal will be open even after today, however forms filled after today will be for phase 2. The last date to apply for phase 2 is July 20, 2021.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology shall be conducting the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2021 Phase I on May 23 and 24, 2021. Then for phase 2 on July 25 and 26, 2021.

Interested aspirants who are eligible to apply can do so on the official website srmist.edu.in. Subsequently, test slots shall be made available for booking.

To register for the exam, candidates must first register on the official website srmist.edu.in. Thereafter, they are required to verify their email to successfully create an account on the portal. Once logged-in, candidates have to fill the online application form and enter their academic details. To appear for SRMJEEE 2021, candidates have to pay Rs.1100 as application fee via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. Lastly, they must upload their photograph and signature to complete the registration process.

Successfully registered candidates have to book their tests slots during slot booking, that is expected to start tomorrow. Aspirants can book their slots and download their hall tickets from the official portal itself. Candidates are advised to book a slot which is most comfortable and convenient for them. However, in case the candidate cannot appear for the test on the decided date and time, they can write to the institute authorities. Following this, the authorities shall assign them another slot to appear for the exam.

The institute shall be conducting mock tests as well on May 20 and 21, 2021 to help candidates get accustomed to the online, remote-proctored examination (ORPE). Link to the mock tests and the instruction manual shall be made available on the university website. To take the remote test, candidates must install the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) on their device and follow the instructions mentioned in the manual.

All candidates appearing for Phase I are obligated to attend both mock tests without fail. Only those students who have appeared for the mock tests shall be allowed to give the SRMJEEE 2021 Phase I exam. While taking the mock tests, their login credentials shall be recorded. These credentials can be used for the main examination. In case they aren’t recorded, candidate has to use the login credentials provided in the hall ticket.

SRMJEEE 2021 test shall be of 150 minutes duration. Candidates are instructed to login to the exam portal 30 minutes prior for capturing their photograph and verifying their ID proof. These 30 minutes can also be utilised to read the instructions which are to be followed during the exam.
