The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has started the slot booking process for the first phase or phase 1 of SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) 2022 today. Candidates who will be appearing for the test can book their slots till tomorrow, i.e. January 06, 2022. This phase of SRMJEEE 2022 will be conducted in a remote proctored online mode. Phase 1 is scheduled from January 08 to 09, 2022.
The entire process of phase 1 will be carried out in four steps. These steps start login and after which candidates can do their slot booking, mock test followed by the main test. To book a slot for SRMJEEE 2022, here are the steps:
Step 1- Go to the official website of SRM at srmist.edu.in
Step 2- Click on the ‘B.Tech 2022-23 Application Open’ link
Step 3- Use the login portal on the right-hand side and enter email and password
Step 4- Now, go straight to the ‘Admission Portal’ and then click on ‘Book Slot’
Step 5- Proceed with booking the slots for January 05 and 06
Step 6- After successful completion of the process, download the hall ticket.

After completing the slot booking process, candidates will also get the opportunity to appear for a mock test. This is to ensure that the students get familiar with the setup of taking the SRMJEEE 2022 online exam. The facility to take a mock test will be available on January 07, 2022. It is advised that the students appear for the mock test and then appear for the final test. This will help in avoiding any sort of last-minute disturbance or clarifications.
SRMJEEE 2022 is an online examination that the candidates will have to appear from their residence. Throughout the examination, the students are going to be invigilated or proctored via the webcam. In addition to that, students must check out the do’s and don’t’s carefully that have been mentioned on the official website.
Please note that on the day of the main exam, the computer must be placed in such a way so that the candidate’s back faces the wall. Also, there shouldn’t be any device in the background. There must be proper lighting in the room while the candidate should dress formally.
The entire test for SRMJEEE 2022 will be held for a duration of 150 minutes. Candidates will be shown one question at a time after which they select the answer and then proceed towards the next question. However, one cannot review the answered or the skipped questions.
