Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh, an aegis company under the Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh is inviting applications for recruitment into the posts of Programmer. SPIC Chandigarh has published official recruitment notifications in this regard at their website i.e. spicindia.com. As per the recruitment notices, eligible and interested candidates are being invited to apply online for recruitment into the aforementioned posts. The application process has already commenced on July 27, 2020. The last date of the submission of online applications is August 05, 2020.
As per the notification published on the official SPIC website, the current openings are for the posts of Senior Programmer and Programmer. There is a single vacancy available for the post of Senior Programmer while the organization has advertised 03 vacancies for the post of Programmer. Altogether, 04 vacancies are advertised by SPIC Chandigarh which are to be filled up by selecting eligible applicants who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria & comply with other terms and conditions of recruitment. Candidates appointed to the post of Senior Programmer are entitled to receive Rs 08 to 12 lacs remuneration. The remuneration of candidates appointed to the post of Programmer is Rs 05 to 07 lacs.
In order to apply for the post of Senior Programmer, candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in the disciplines of IT, Computer Science or a Master in Computer Applications degree within a minimum of 60% marks. In addition, the minimum experience of 07 years is also essential. The experience must be in a relevant field of e-Governance Applications Software Development (Project Management skills and IT experience). In addition, candidates who have M.E./M. Tech degree in IT, Computer Science with minimum 60% marks are also eligible to apply for the post given that they have at least 05 years of experience in the field of e-Governance Applications, Software Development. Candidates must have knowledge of Information Security, Cloud Infra, and IoT.
For the post of Programmer, similar qualifications are also required. Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in IT or Computer Science are eligible to apply for the recruitment. In addition, those who have a Master in Computer Application are also eligible to apply. Candidates must have obtained their qualification by securing a minimum of 60% marks. In addition, minimum experience of 04 years is required in the field of e-Governance Applications and Software Development. Candidates must have knowledge of Information Security, Cloud Infra and IoT.
An application fee of Rs 500 must be paid in order to apply for the recruitment. The fee can be paid through internet banking, debit/credit card. Applications can be made by clicking on the relevant links to apply for each post in the official website. Candidates must upload scanned photograph and a soft copy of their Resume along with the application form. The print out of the application for must be generated and submitted at the SPIC Office at the time of test/interview. Candidates are to be intimated about the selection method i.e. test/interview through email.
