South Eastern Railways has recently released an official notification inviting online applications for the post of Contract Medical Practitioners (CMP). A total of 06 vacancies are out for the CMP posts. Applications through email are invited from the retired as well as open market candidates. The form should be submitted before the last date that is September 03, 2020. SER Railways will conduct Online Interview on September 07, 2020, at 11:00 AM. The recruitment for the CMP post is for the Adra Division for Divisional Hospital. Posts that are advertised are Anaesthesist, Critical Care Specialist, Emergency Medical Specialist, Physician, and any other specialist in clinical subjects. All the eligible candidates are appointed for a period of 03 months only. Candidates shortlisted for the Super Specialist post get a monthly salary of Rs. 1,15,000/-, Specialists get Rs. 95,000/- and GDMO gets Rs. 75,000/-. Moreover, Rs. 75,000 is offered to the Retired candidates.
To apply for the Specialist posts, candidates must have a postgraduate degree/ Diploma in their respective subject. Candidates who have an MBBS degree from a University/ institution. Moreover, candidates must have completed their rotatory internships. Retired government doctors have to produce evidence in support of their government service. Those who have relevant experience in the concerned field are given preference.
SER Railways has also specified the age limit for the eligible candidates. Open market candidates have to ensure that their maximum age does not exceed that of 53 years as on July 01, 2020. Retired Government Medical Officer of Central/ State Government should not be more than 65 years as on July 01, 2020.
Due to lockdown and COVID-19, applications are invited only through email. Eligible candidates have to submit the scanned and signed copy of the filled application form to the email address – email@example.com. Along with the form, attach biodata, signed copies of the requisite documents/ certificate as mentioned in the application form. A list of applications received will be uploaded on ser.indianrailways.gov.in by September 04, 2020.
On the basis of the received application form list, candidates are invited for the interview. Acknowledging the current situation COVID-19 and lockdown an online interview will be conducted for both retired and open market candidates. The selection committee will conduct the interview through Whatsapp call from 7866083508. Because of this, it is mandatory for candidates to mention their WhatsApp number in the application form. Candidates are advised not to call this number unless specifically asked to do so.
