Solapur Municipal Corporation is inviting suitable candidates to fill up the vacant posts of Medical Officer, Staff Nurse and Attendant. The official notification can be downloaded from the official website, solapurcorporation.gov.in. The conducting body has announced 105 vacancies for this recruitment. Shortlisted candidates have to serve in Solapur District COVID care Cente, UPHC centre and other works related to COVID-19. Eligible candidates can submit their forms against the announced post before July 25, 2020.
Out of the total vacancies, 35 vacancies are announced for Medical Officer, 40 vacancies for Staff Nurse and 30 for Attendant. The recruitment is completely on temporary/contractual basis for 06 months. Those who are appointed as Medical Officer with MBBS degree gets Rs. 50,000/- Medical Officer with other qualification receives Rs. 40,000/-, Staff Nurse GNM gets Rs. 20,000/-, Staff Nurse ANM gets Rs. 18,000/- and Attendant gets Rs. 10,000/- as per month salary.
To apply for Medical Officer, candidates must have MBBS/PG in any subject/ BAMS/BHMS/BUMS. Those who have passed 12th examination and have completed GNM or ANM course are eligible for the post of Staff Nurse. In addition, they must have registered themselves with Maharashtra Nursing Council and have 02 years work experience. Candidates who have successfully qualified 07th standard, have knowledge of first aid and have 02 years experience in the same field can apply for the post of Attendant. Candidates age must not exceed the upper age limit of 45 years.

Along with the application form, aspirants have to attach proof of age, certificate of academic credentials, registration certificate, experience certificate from Government/Semi-government institution, Domicile certificate, passport size photograph. After receiving the application form, a merit list is prepared by the conducting body. The list is prepared based on academic qualification, work experience of the candidates. The marks secured by candidates in the qualifying examination are also considered while preparing the merit list. Candidates who are shortlisted and have their names in the merit list are invited for the interview round.
