Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur, Rajasthan is inviting applications for the post of Senior Resident in various departments. The conducting body has announced a total of 39 vacancies for Senior Resident recruitment. A walk-in-interview is scheduled for July 30, 2020, and July 31, 2020. The applications are invited before the last date of the which is July 30, 2020, for Female and Obstetrics Department, Infant Department, Medicine, Medical Oncology, Palliative Medicine department and July 31, 2020, for Department of Surgery, Microbiology, ENT, Astigmatism and Senior Resident Anesthesiology
The vacancies of Senior Resident that are announced are under various departments. The conducting body has announced 05 vacancies for Female and Obstetrics Department, 05 for Infant Department, 04 for Medicine, 02 for Medical Oncology, 01 for Palliative Medicine. The interview for these departments is on July 30, 2020. For the Department of Surgery, 04 vacancies are announced, 04 for Microbiology, 04 for ENT, 05 for Astigmatism and 05 for Senior Resident Anesthesiology. The interview for all these departments is on July 31, 2020. Those who are selected under this post have to receive Rs. 61,000/- as the monthly stipend.
To apply for these posts, candidates must have MD/MS or its equivalent educational qualification from Rajasthan Health Sciences University/Institute. Also, aspirants must possess registration certificate from Rajasthan Medical Council or Indian Medical Council. Candidates have to take care that their age should not be more than 45 years as on January 01, 2021. Refer to the official notification to know about the rules and policy of the reservation.
The application process for this recruitment is conducted through an offline process. Along with the application form, candidates also have to submit passport size photograph, date of birth proof, mark sheet and certificate of educational qualifications, registration certificate, experience certificate, a certificate in support for those women candidates whose surname has changed, No Objection certificate if applicable. Applications received after the last date are rejected.

The recruitment of Senior Resident is on a temporary basis. Candidates are appointed for 01 years. The Senior Residents also have to participate in the teaching training work. The appointed candidates have to teach graduate students for which their work experience as a teacher is counted. In future, the candidates can use this teaching experience in whichever field required.
