State Level Recruitment Board, Assam is looking for eligible candidates for the post under the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Assam. SLPRB Assam has also published an official notification in this regard with “No. SLPRB/ Rec/Grade-III & IV/ ECT/2020/” on the website, slprbassam.in. In total 444 vacancies are out for SLPRB recruitment 2020. The online registrations for the said posts start from September 21, 2020. Candidates can submit their form before October 10, 2020.
Under the recruitment for Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, SLPRB has announced various posts. These include – Stenographer (English), Tech. Assistant (HQ), Statistical Assistant (Employment Wing), Pharmacist (ITI), Instructor-Stenography (English), Junior Instructor, Junior Assistant, Hostel Superintendent, Store Keeper, Librarian, Dresser and Grade IV.
SLPRB is inviting applications from ordinary residents of Assam. Candidate’s age should not be more than that of 40 years while applying. They must have attained the minimum age limit of 18 years as on January 01, 2020. Age relaxation is permissible to SC/ST/ OBC/ MOBC/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per government rules. Moreover, aspirants have to be physically fit to be eligible for this post. They have to appear for the Medical examination before the final appointment.
To apply for the said posts, candidates have to ensure that they fulfil the educational qualification. Aspirants who possess graduation degree in relevant discipline are eligible to apply for Stenographer, Statistical Assistant, Instructor-Stenography, Junior Assistant and Hostel Superintendent cum Physical Training Instructor. 10th pass candidates can apply for Dresser, Librarian, Store Keeper, Junior Instructor, Pharmacist and Tech. Assistant. Those who have passed 8th class are eligible to submit their forms against Grade IV post.
The applications for the said posts can be submitted online via slprbassam.in. While applying, it is mandatory to mention the preference of the posts. Candidates have to upload scanned copies of the passport size photograph, signature, 10th admit card, educational qualification degree and certificates, EWS certificate (if applicable), and others. On successful registration, aspirants will receive their ID number which they can use un future to download admit card and check the result.
There will be two tests for the selection under these posts – the first phase test and the second phase test. The first test is basically the written test that is conducted for all the posts except for Grade IV. The examination will take place for 02 hours and 30 minutes. Those who qualify first phase test will be called for the second phase test which is CBT on the specific trade. For Grade-IV, a written test and practical test will be conducted for selection.
