SLET Commission, Assam has released the SET 2022 exam date on the official website, sletne.org. According to the notice released by the commission, the SLET, Assam 2021 is scheduled to be held on February 27, 2022. The application form for the examination is also going to be available on the official website, sletneonline.in.
As per the official notice, candidates can fill the SET, Assam 2022 application form starting from November 11 to December 28, 2021. Since the application fee has to be paid via a bank challan the last date to pay the application fee is December 31, 2021. The SET, Assam admit card for the written examination shall be released in the due course.
Candidates who successfully qualify for the SLET, Assam 2022 exam shall be considered to be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor. Check out the complete notice released for SET, Assam 2022 in the space below:
As per the official notification released, candidates must have cleared the Master’s programme in any discipline with at least 55% marks. While the minimum qualifying marks for OBC, SC/ST category is 50% marks in aggregate. However, there is no age limit and no maximum cap on the number of attempts.
Assam SLET 2021 is going to be held for around 25 subjects in around 9 cities across the state of Assam. As per the exam pattern, there will be two papers in the examination i.e. papers 1 and 2. Paper 1 has 50 questions from the general subject and teaching aptitude and paper 2 will have 100 questions based on the subject. The duration for paper 1 will be 1 hour and paper 2 is going to be held for 2 hours. There is a prescribed marking of 2 marks for each correct answer while there is no provision for wrong answers in the examination.
Candidates who belong to the unreserved category need to score atleast 40% aggregate marks in both papers. However, the candidates who are from the SC/ST/OBC category have to score at least 35% marks in both papers. Candidates can collect their SET, Assam marksheet from the commission’s office after 45 days from the date of announcement of the result.
