Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Technician, Jr Asst, Asst Cook, Jr Engineer, Staff Nurse,& Other. Candidates who are interested in recruitment can send their application through online mode only. They can get the detailed notification and link to send the online application through the official website which is skims.ac.in. The link to submit the online application is now available on the website from July 01, 2020, onwards. Candidates can submit their applications for the advertised posts by July 27, 2020.
The age of the eligible candidates should be as prescribed by the conducting body. The upper age limit for general category candidates should not exceed that of 40 years. Similarly, for candidates who already are the government service/contractual basis, the upper age limit is 40 years. However, for reserved category candidates, the age limit is relaxable as per the reservation policy. For physically challenge category candidates, the upper age limit is 42 years, for SC/ST/RBA/EWS/ALC/IB/PSP and Social caste is 43 years and 48 years for Ex-Servicemen. Candidates must possess Matric, 10+2, Diploma, ITI, Degree, PG (Relevant Discipline) to apply for the posts that are announced.
As discussed above, the application link for SKIMS recruitment is available on the official website, skims.ac.in. Aspirants have to visit the official website in order to apply for the announced posts. They have to make sure they fill the application form before the last date of the submission. Candidates have to upload the image of the scanned copies of relevant documents in support of their educational qualification. These document should only be submitted in jpeg, jpg, tiff and gif format. These certificates should also be produced at the time fo the document verification round. Along with this, candidates are also asked to upload the image of their photograph and signature. The size of the photograph should be between 50Kb to 100 kb and signature should be between 30 kb to 60 kb. Candidates also have to pay Rs. 500/- as the application fee for the submission of the application form. In addition to the application fee, candidates also have to submit the service charges that are deducted during the online payment. The fee can only be paid through the online process.
The documents that candidates submit at the time of application form should necessarily be produced at the time of the document verification round. All these documents are cross verified by the conducting body to verify the eligibility of the candidates to appear for the written exam/interview/physical test.
