State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Bihar is looking after the conduct of state level National Talent Search Examination 2019-2020. With the NTSE level 1 exam being organized in most states tomorrow, it may be noted that the level 1 exam in Bihar will be held on November 17, 2019. This is the first of the two levels of NTSE exam that lead to scholarships by NCERT.
SCERT Bihar will issue NTSE admit card 2019 on November 4, 2019, in online mode. Students can download the same via the official website biharscert.in. Bihar is one of the few states where most facilities related to NTSE and NMMS are completely online.
Two days from now, applicant students need to go to the website, and navigate to the link for online application portal for (NTSE) National Talent Search Examination 2020. This opens the page bihar-nts-nmmss.in, where, all latest updates of the exam are available. Here, students will find the link to login. Then on the next page, they will have to enter login ID and password to generate their admit cards. Other than candidate login, institution registration, institution login, council login links are also available on the website.
The admit card is critical for getting entry to the exam hall. Besides, it contains the reporting time, exam center, and such details without which one cannot go for the exam. Students should pay special attention to the instructions for exam, and follow them to the T.
One must check whether or not they have all the relevant details mentioned in the admit card such as roll number, name, exam center address, photograph, signature, timings and date of the exam and authorities signature. All these details make the admit card a authenticated document for a student to appear in the exam. Exam takers need to bring the hard copy of the admit inside the examination center.
No cell phones, calculator, electronic watches, logs table or any other study material is allowed in inside. Any unethical activity suspected will lead to negative consequences.
There will be two papers in the exam. One is Mental Ability Test (MAT) and other one is Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). Both the papers will have 100 objective type questions each worth 100 marks, with no negative marking.
After the exam, SCERT Bihar will also release official answer keys. The provisional answer key will be available on November 22, 2019. Students will be able to submit objections against them until December 2, 2019. After that, the council shall declare results in January or February 2020.
The selected candidates will be called for National Talent Search Examination level 2, which is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2020. NCERT shall conduct the exam on a national level.
