On January 22, 2019, State Bank of India has invited application for Chief Technology Officer and Deputy General Manager (E&TA) posts online on http://www.bank.sbi/careers or http://www.sbi.co.in/careers. The official SBI Specialist Cadre Officer 2019 advertisement was as well released on the same date, mentioning all the relevant details for bank job aspirants. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for both these posts and start applying accordingly, before February 11, 2019.
SBI Specialist Cadre Officer 2019 Eligibility Criteria
A candidate should be B.E./ B.Tech./ MCA/ M.Sc./ M.Tech. in CS/ IT graduate from a recognized college/institute, along with a minimum of 20 years of work experience in the IT field, in order to apply for Chief Technology Officer post. Of these 20 years of work experience, a candidate should have at least 10 years in senior executive level, of which 3 years should be of working in banking & financial sector.
Whereas for Deputy General Manager post, a candidate must be B.E./ B.Tech./ Post Graduate in CS/ IT Or MCA graduate from a recognized college. Such candidates, having MBA as an additional qualification will be prioritized. In order to apply for this post, a candidate should have a total of 18 years of work experience in the IT field, of which 6 years should be for working as a senior executive level position. Out of those 6 years, 3 years of work experience should be gained working in the banking and financial sector. A candidate having experience in enterprise architecture is preferred.
One each vacancy is to be filled for both the contractual(Chief Technology Officer) and regular(Deputy General Manager) post. The upper age limit to apply for any of these posts is 50 years, whereas the place of posting is likely to be Navi Mumbai. The suitable candidates will be selected on the basis of shortlisting and the interview round. The expected CTC for Chief Technology Officer post will be between Rs. 65 to 80 Lacs, whereas for Deputy General Manager Post, the expected CTC is Rs. 40.20 Lacs.
Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 600 (General and OBC candidates) and Rs. 100 (SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) via using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card as their payment gateway. The payment can be made from January 22 to February 11, 2019. The application will be made available for editing till February 11, 2019. And after having made the corrections/ submitted the forms online, a candidate can download their applications till March 30, 2019.
At the time of filling the SBI 2019 Specialist Cadre Officer application, a candidate needs to upload the following documents – Brief Resume, ID Proof, Proof of Date of Birth, Educational Certificates: Relevant Mark-Sheets/ Degree Certificate, Experience certificates, Form-16, Recent Photograph, and signature. Each of these documents should be in either pdf/doc format. The size of the photograph should be between 20 kb – 50 kb and dimensions should be 200 x 230 pixels. Whereas the size of the signature should be between 10 kb – 20 kb and the dimensions should be 140 x 60 pixels.
