The National Testing Agency, Delhi successfully concluded the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE), 2022 on January 09, 2022. The exam was held for class 6 and class 9 students in two shifts at various affiliated centers across the country. A few weeks later, NTA released the official answer key for the AISSEE 2022 examination on February 03, 2022. The agency had invited applications to challenge this provisional answer key till February 05, 2022. Challenges of those applicants who paid a non-refundable amount of INR 200 per question will be accepted. After considering all the reviews, the final answer key will be released on the official website of AISSEE at aissee.nta.nic.in.
Soon after the release of the final answer key, the National Testing Agency will evaluate the answer sheets using standard procedure and declare the results on the official website of AISSEE mentioned above. The result is expected to be released soon by the last week of February 2022. The date of announcement of results will be updated soon by the officials. Class 6th and 9th students can easily access their results through a simple login process using the application number and the security pin.
AISSEE Results 2022
The National Testing Agency will very soon release the result sheet in the format/s as per Sainik Schools Society requirement. Class 6th and 9th merit lists will be prepared category-wise and school-wise respectively. The merit list will be separated for boys and girls and will be published on the official website mentioned above. Students who appeared for the AISSEE 2022 exam will be notified about the Initial call list and Final Merit list by their respective schools, through local newspapers (English and Vernacular). However, these lists will be published on the schools’ websites only.
How shall Merit List be prepared?
According to NTA, the Initial Call List which will be published on the website of the respective schools, before the Medical Exam, will be in the ratio of 1:3. The Final Merit List, released by any Sainik School on its website on the scheduled date after the Medical Exam, shall include class-wise and category-wise roll numbers of students, in the order of their merit, reflecting Main List (equal to a total number of seats in the category) and Waiting List (for remaining students).
If by any chance, the Waiting List for the Final Merit List gets exhausted, including the reason such as the candidate being medically unfit, or unable to submit the required documents at the time of verification, or unable to join due to personal reasons, the vacant seats will be filled up according to the rules set up for allotting the unfilled seats for different categories by the agency.

Further candidates must note that scoring passing marks or being on the Waiting List will not assure their admission in any Sainik school as it is fully based on school-wise, class-wise and category-wise vacancies and merit as well as it is subject to medical fitness.
