Railway Recruitment Boards has released a notification on RRB NTPC (CEN 01/2019) 1st stage CBT exam date today, on December 17, 2020. As per the notice, the 1st stage computer based test will be held in phases. The first phase will be held from December 28, 2020, to January 13, 2021.
Approximately 23 lakh candidates will get exam dates in the first phase. Overall 1.26 crore candidates have applied. Which means that 1.03 crore candidates will get exam date in next phases.
For the first phase, RRB NTPC exam date and city intimation will start on December 18, 2020. Candidates will have to visit the websites of the regional RRBs to login and check their exam date. In this login, SC, ST candidates will also be able to download travelling authority.
How will candidate know whether his/her exam is in first phase or not? >> All candidates will be able to login and check exam date. Those who DO NOT HAVE exam in first phase will get the message “Dear Candidate , You are not scheduled in the present phase. Please wait for intimation from RRBs”.
After checking exam date and city intimation, candidates will get the RRB NTPC admit card 2020/2021 from exactly 4 days before their exam date. That is, those who get exam date as December 28, 2020, will be able to download their admit card from December 24, 2020. Then the candidates with exam dates as December 29, 2020, will get from December 25, 2020. Likewise this will go on till the last exam date that is for January 13, 2021, admit card will be released on January 09, 2021.
RRBs have also intimated that will provide Forgot Application Registration Number link. So such candidates who have forgotten their registration numbers will be able to retrieve it from there. They will get this link at login page only.
The RRB NTPC exam will be held as per COVID guidelines. There will be social distancing protocols, and temperature check measures.
At this moment RRBs are also conducting the RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories exam. The RRB MI exam are being held from December 15 to 18, 2020. Today was the third exam day of the test, and tomorrow will be the last. After this RRBs will issue the answer keys of RRB MI exam, and then results.
Overall more than 2 crore candidates are appearing in the railway recruitment exams CEN 01/20219, CEN 03/2019, and RRC CEN 01/2019. The last one will be RRB Group D exams, for which exam dates have been decided to be after April 2021.
