Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) is looked forward to provide the RRB NTPC exam date and city intimation 2019 link in November. At that time, they will also issue free travel pass for SC/ST candidates who had uploaded caste certificate. Using it, candidates can travel for free in sleeper class railway for their exam.
How to get free travel pass at the time of checking RRB NTPC 2019 exam date and city intimation?
Candidates can download the free travel pass, also known as travel authority, when RRBs publish exam date and city intimation link. The link will be available around 10 days before the exam. Right now dates for the event are not available, it is expected to happen in November.
When the link is available at any of the RRB websites, candidates will have to login through it using registration number and date of birth. After logging in they can download the free pass.
Only they will get it who belong to scheduled caste, or scheduled tribe category, and they had indicated ‘yes’ in the relevant column of the online application form. Also, they had to upload valid caste certificate in jpeg format within 50-100 kb.

After downloading the travel authority, how to use it?
This is a free sleeper class railway pass. At the time of getting reservation, candidate has to show the pass and their original, valid SC/ST community certificate for verification. Then at the time of travelling also, if they show these two things, they will be allowed to travel for free. So this pass gives free rail travel facility.
Candidates will get it for all the stages of recruitment including the computer based test, computer based aptitude test, typing skill test, document verification.
It may be noted that the free travel pass is only for sleeper class. Sleeper class is the most common coach in Indian Railways. Usually 10 or more coaches are attached to the train rake, and each has 9 bays. On both sides of the passage inside a coach, there are berths. On one side, there are three across the width, and 2 lengthwise. On the side that has 6 berths, there are two lower, two middle, and two upper. The middle berth has to be kept closed during the day time.

What is RRB NTPC exam date and city intimation 2019?
RRB NTPC exam date and city intimation 2019 is the event where RRBs activate a link at which all candidates whose application forms have been accepted, will be able to login, and know these things – their exam date, the city where they have to go for exam. Basically, it lets a candidate know only date and center city so that they can make travel arrangements.
This is not e-call letter. The RRB NTPC admit card 2019 will be released after exam date and city intimation event.
At present, 1.26 crore candidates are waiting for the RRB NTPC 2019 exam date, admit card, city intimation. In fact even application status has not been released yet. First the application status will come. Then exam date notification will be published. After that the exam date and city intimation link will be activated. RRB NTPC 2019 recruitment is for 35,208 vacancies. The posts are of two types, one called as undergraduate posts where class 12th pass candidates can get job, and the other are graduate posts for candidates with a bachelors degree. CBT 1 will be a 90 minutes test with questions on general awareness, mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning.
