Railway Recruitment Boards have informed that the RRB JE city intimation for CBT 2 will be available from 11 pm tonight. All candidates who were declared qualified as per the result of CEN 03/2018 declared on Tuesday, will be able to login to check exam city, exam date then. Moreover, SC and ST candidates will be able to download free train travel authority at the same time.
RRBs, Indian Railways had informed in the RRB JE CBT 2 notification declared with the result, that city and date intimation will be available from August 17. However any time was not fixed. Today, it has put up the message on rrbonlinereg.in that the city intimation will be available from 11 pm.
On going to RRB website, like rrbbs.gov.in for Bhubaneswar, candidates will find a link “Click here for city intimation advice, free travel authority (for eligible candidates) and mock test of 2nd stage CBT and Score card of 1st stage CBT.” This leads to rrbonlinereg.in. Here, The message on website says “City Intimation can be viewed from 23:00 hrs on 17-08-2019”.
The city intimation for RRB JE CBT 2 will be available at rrbonlinereg.in. Candidates can either access it directly, or go to website of any of the RRBs and click on exam city, date intimation link from 11 pm onwards. Registration number and date of birth are expected to be required to login to check the assigned exam city and exam date.
Candidates are further informed that depending upon the exam date assigned to them, they will be able to download admit card for RRB JE CBT 2, from exactly 4 days prior to their exam. This means that those who have exam on August 28, can download admit card from August 24. Those who will have CBT 2 on August 29, will be able to download it from August 25. Likewise candidates who get exam date as August 30 shall be issued call letters on August 26. August 31 exam date RRB JE candidates will have their admit cards on the website on August 27. Finally. Those who get exam date as September 1, will be able to download the RRB JE CBT 2 admit card from August 28.
Although exam city is being informed from tonight, the exam center will be intimated through admit card only.
Another important thing that is supposed to be available from tonight is the mock test for second stage computer based test. Link to access it is also expected to be available on all RRB websites.
Candidates are a little upset over the fact that CBT 2 is only two weeks away. Few have taken to social media and are also tweeting, emailing, calling concerned officials of RRBs, Indian Railways to postpone the CBT 2. However it is in the best interests of those who have qualified to not wait for the exam to be delayed, and gear up with their preparations straight ahead; there are slim to none chances of the exam being postponed.
RRB JE CBT 2 will be held from August 28 to September 1, that is it will be held over a period of five days time. The exam will be computer based test of 2 hours duration, although PWBD candidates with scribes will get 2 hours and 40 minutes. There will be 150 questions, all multiple choice type. Negative marking of ⅓ mark for every question will be applicable.
