Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced RRB Group D Result 2018-2019 date. The list of candidates shortlisted for PET will be announced on March 04, 2019. 1.8 crore candidates who appeared for RRB Group D CEN 02/2018 between September 17 to December 17, 2018, will finally get to know their result now.
The result of RRB Group D 2018 will be announced as merit list and scorecard. The difference between the two is that in the merit list the names and roll numbers of only those candidates will be mentioned who have qualified for RRB Group D PET round. However, the scorecard will be released for all those candidates appeared for the exam. Through the scorecard of RRB Group D, the candidates will get to know their raw score, pro-rata score, normalized score, and qualifying status.
In order to check the merit list or to download the scorecard, visit the official website of any zonal RRBs and search for the respective link. The merit list will be available as pdf. However, to check the result or score, the candidates will have to access the login. To do so, the user id and date of birth of the candidate is needed. In the scorecard of RRB Group D 2018, pass / fails status, raw score, normalized marks, pro-rata score, etc is mentioned.
The selected candidates will be issued admit card of RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It is expected that RRB will start PET in the 2nd week of March 2019. It will be released online, on the candidate login. To download it, the candidates will have to enter their User ID and Password. The date, time, venue, and other details about the Physical Test will be mentioned in the admit card of RRB Group D PET.
In the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the candidates have to perform various tasks. The first task of the candidates is to lift and carry weight and in the second task, the candidates have to run. The tasks in PET are to be performed by both male and female candidates. The male candidates have to carry a weight of 35 kg and cover distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes. Whereas, the female candidates have to carry a weight of 20 kgs and cover a distance of 100 meters, in 2 minutes.
In the running task, the male candidates will have to run for 1000 meters, in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Whereas, the female candidates will have to run for 1000 meters, in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
The candidates who qualify PET will be then eligible to participate in the Document Verification (DV) process. This last and final stage of the recruitment process. In DV round, the candidates are required to report at the allotted center with the necessary documents at the specified date.
