Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) East Central Railway (ECR) has recently released a notice in which the PET exam dates have been changed for ECR due to some technical issue. The exam which was earlier scheduled to be held from 26 to 30 March 2019 will now be held from 03 to 06 April 2019. The admit card for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is going to be made available on March 29, 2019.
Candidates must ensure that as per the notice released by the RRC, candidates are present on the allotted dates for the Physical Efficiency test. The admit card will be released in online mode at the zonal websites of the RRC ECR, Patna, http://www.rrcecr.gov.in. Candidates need to enter the user id and password to download the PET ECR, Admit Card.
In the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which is conducted by the RRC this time, candidates are required to perform physical tasks like running and weight lifting. The tasks also need to be completed in the allotted time limit. As then only candidates will be eligible for the next round which is, Document Verification.
On the day of the PET exam, candidates must make sure that they carry the admit card along with a passport size colored photograph and valid photo identity proof. No candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam without the relevant documents. Admit Card is an important document so, candidates should keep it carefully till the time recruitment process gets over.
Male category candidates have to run for 1000 meters in 4 Min 15 Sec and lift 35 Kg of weight for 100 meters. Female candidates are required to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 Min 40 Sec and lift 20 Kg weight for 100 meters. Candidates will get 2 minutes for the weight lifting. Aspirants are required to pass this round in a single attempt.
The RRB Group D PET Result is also announced as soon as the PET is conducted. So, candidates should keep visiting the zonal websites of the RRC to know the latest updates regarding the RRB Group D Recruitment. The result for RRC ECR will be announced in online mode. It can be declared either in the form of merit list or through login. The merit list will consist of the names of the candidates who have qualified the PET round. Whereas, if the result is announced over login then, candidates have to enter registration number and date of birth.
Candidates clearing the PET round successfully will be called for the Document Verification. For this round, candidates have to be present at the specified date and venue along with the relevant documents. It is mandatory for the candidates to be physically present for the DV round. Candidates shortlisted for the DV round are also required to pass the medical exam which will be conducted by the Railway Administration. A medical exam is held to check that candidate is fit to carry out the duties concerned with the post or not.
