The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released the prelims result of RAS. Along with the result, the cut-off marks have also been revealed. The Prelims result was announced yesterday i.e. on October 23, 2018. The prelims exams were conducted on August 05, 2018. So, the candidates who have enrolled in the exams can check it now.
To check RPSC RAS Prelims Result 2018, candidates can go to the official website of RPSC i.e. rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. After reaching the homepage, click on the tab Results present under Candidate Information menu. Now, a list of the results will appear to you. Here, the candidates can select the link of the relevant result. In this way, the result will be available. It has been released in the pdf format. Candidates are suggested to download the result and then take the printout of it for the further procedure.
Around 15,044 candidates from Non-TSP Area and 571 candidates from TSP area have qualified the prelims and now they have been promoted for the mains exams. At the moment, the result of 5 candidates is on withheld.
RPSC has also released the cut-off marks for the various categories. As per the pdf shared by the commission, the cut-off marks range from 71.14 for the general category under TSP area to 76.06 for Non-TSP area under the same category. The cut-off marks of OBC category candidates for the Non-TSP area is 99.33. SC category cut-off ranges from 75.17 (TSP) to 68.01 (Non-TSP) while the ST category cut-off has been considered as 55.93 for TSP area to 61.30 Non-TSP area.
Those who have qualified the Preliminary exams will be able to appear for the mains exams. As per the schedule, the main exams for RAS will be held on December 23 and December 24, 2018. The mains result is expected to be announced in the month of January 2019.
Now, the candidates who will crack the mains exams will be called for the Interview round. This round will be taken to judge the personality of the aspirant. It will carry 100 marks. The marks will be given on the basis of the character, personality of the candidate. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the Prelims, Mains and in the Interview rounds.
