Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has announced the MBA Entrance Exam Date on the Official Website. The university conducts the University level entrance examination for admission to management programmes. The date for which has been scheduled to take place on 26 May 2019. The AMU MBA 2019 exam will conduct in a single session and day at 10:00 AM.
Until now the exam conducting body has released the AMU MBA Exam Date only. Interested candidates can apply for the entrance exam to take admission in MBA, MBA (IB) and P.G. Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance.
The AMU MBA examination is a pen-paper based test to be completed in three hours. All the 200 questions are Multiple Choice Based with four options each. Also, the paper is divided into five sections comprising Environmental Awareness, Quantitative and Numerical Ability, Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Reasoning and Intelligence, and Data Analysis and Interpretation. Each question in the test carries one mark with 25% negative marking for each incorrect answers.
The exam conducting body does not officially release the syllabus for the exam. Though candidates must prepare important topics under each section. Since syllabus is not pre-defined, test takers must expect questions from any topic. Students can also refer past year papers to know the type of questions that can appear in the exam.
The application form for AMU MBA 2019 is expected to release in the month of March 2019. Last year, the forms were released on March 08, 2018. Before registration, it is necessary to clear the eligibility criteria guidelines laid by the university. For the exam, only Indian Nationals with a bachelor degree are eligible to apply. Additionally, it is required to have at least 50% marks aggregate in graduation.
On the successful registration, AMU will release the admit card on the scheduled date. The test will conduct in Aligarh and outside the city. Candidates will get the exam centre according to the test city preference selected by them during the registration process. On the exam day, it is important to carry the admit card along with photo identity proof.
After the test day, the university will release the Answer Key and Result on the official website. Further, Interview, Aptitude Assessment, and Group Discussion will take place for the final admission. Qualified candidates will get the intimation on registered email regarding the complete admission process. The same will be updated on the AMU website.
