Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) hereby announces the new exam date for 1st grade that is school lecturer recruitment 2019. As per the revised schedule, exam for the recruitment will be held from January 3, 2020, to January 13, 2020.
The RPSC 1st grade recruitment is being conducted to fill 5000 vacancies of school lecturers in different subjects. Depending on the subject opted by candidates, they have been divided into different groups namely A, B, C. And the schedule is given in such a way that different exam dates are given for each group. For all the candidates in the same group, GK exam will be held on the same date and time, however subject paper will be separate, one at a time for each subject.
GK paper for group A will be held on January 3, 2020 from 9 am to 10.30 am. Hindi is on the same day from 2 pm to 5 pm. Sanskrit and Rajasthani will be held on the next day, January 4, 2020 from 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm respectively.
Then the GK paper for group B will be conducted on January 6, 2020, at the same time as the previous GK paper. Political science paper shall be conducted on that day itself from 2 pm to 5 pm. Geography and music papers will be held on January 7, 2020 from 9 am to 12 noon, biology on same day from 2 pm to 5 pm. RPSC will conduct economics exam on January 8, 2020 from 9 am to 12 noon, public administration and physics on that day from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Group C has the maximum number of subjects. Their GK exam is on January 9, 2020, again from 9 am to 10.30 am. Exam for history candidates will be on that day from 2 pm to 5 pm. From 9 am to 12 noon on next four days, English paper will be on January 10, 2020, chemistry on January 11, 2020, mathematics on January 12, 2020, and punjabi on January 13, 2020. Likewise from 2 pm to 5 pm on these respective dates that is from January 10, 2020 to January 13, 2020, commerce and agriculture, sociology, home science, drawing will be conducted.
More than one month ago, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission had reopened the online application form for this recruitment as the commission had made changes to the distribution in vacancies due to introduction of EWS and MBC categories. Candidates could fill fresh applications from September 23 to October 12.
Initially the exam was supposed to be held in January 2019. Now finally RPSC has announced the revised exam date, which is ironically one year after the initial dates. The notification against which the exam is being conducted is advt no. 10/2018-19.
Next, RPSC will issue admit card for 1st grade recruitment 2018-2019 either in December 2019 or January 2020. Yesterday, admit cards were issued for vice principal and group instructor recruitment. For 1st grade admit card, candidates should keep their application numbers, required to login, handy.
