Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Bihar is inviting eligible candidates for various posts of teaching and technical positions. The posts that are announced are of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Technical Officer and Medical Officer. The application process has started from July 01, 2020, onwards. The conducting body has announced a total of 63 vacancies under the RPCAU recruitment. For the post of Professor, 08 vacancies are announced, 10 vacancies for Associate Professor and 39 vacancies for Assistant Professor. Under the Technical department, 02 vacancies are advertised for Senior Technical Officer and 04 vacancies for Medical Officer.
Candidates who have a Doctoral Degree can apply for the post of Professor, Associate Professor. To apply for Assistant Professor and Senior Technical Officer, candidates must have a master’s degree in relevant fields. An MBBS Degree os required for Medical Officer post. The upper age limit for the post of professor is 60 years, 50 years for Associate Professor, 38 years for Medical Officer and 35 years for Assistant Professor, Senior Technical Officer.

Eligible candidates have to submit the application fee as per the category. Unreserved/EWS/OBC category candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- as the application fee. However, SC/ST/PWD/Women category candidates are exempted from the fee submission. The fee for the post of Professor and Associate Professor should be paid through can be paid through Net banking/ Phone banking/Mobile banking mode i.e. RTGS, NEFT, IMPS. The fee should be paid into Punjab National Bank Account No. 4512000100012923 of IFSC Code PUNB0451200. The application fee or the post of Assistant Professor, Senior Technical Officer and Medical Officer can be paid through Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.
The selection of the candidates for the announced posts depends upon the number of candidates who participates in the recruitment. The selection process may include qualifying test/written test/presentation/interview or a combination of any of these. However, candidates have to ensure that they are fulfilling the eligibility and have proper documents to support it. In case, any candidate is found ineligible at any stage, he/she is debarred from the recruitment process.
