All India Institue of Medical Sciences, New Delhi is inviting online applications for the post of Research Assistant and Medical Social worker. The conducting body has announced 02 vacancies under Medical Social Worker. AIIMS, New Delhi has not specified the number of vacancies for Research Assistant. Those who are shortlisted for the Research Assistant post receives Rs.31,000/- and Medical Social Worker gets Rs.32,000/- per month. Desirous and eligible candidates can submit the applications for Research Assistant up to July 31, 2020. The window to submit the application form for Medical Social Worker closes on August 03, 2020. To apply for the post of Medical Social Worker, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Social work from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates who have Post Graduation degree in Hospital/Healthcare administration or Public Health are eligible for the post of Research Assistant. In addition, work experience in disaster management/epidemic disease management is required. Those who have good scientific writing skills are prefered. Along with the educational qualification, candidates also have to ensure that they fulfil the age limit. The upper age limit for Medical Social Worker is 35 years. For Research Assistant, the upper age limit of 30 years.
The application procedure for both the posts is conducted through an online process. To apply for a Medical Social Worker, candidates have to visit the https://forms.gle/Eg9K2JetGvnruTGN8. Here, candidates have to enter all the required details as per the educational certificate and click on the ‘submit’ button for final submission. To submit the online application form for Research Assistant, candidates have to submit his/her biodata. Along with this, they have to attach attested copies of the date of birth certificate, educational qualification, work experience. etc with the application form. AIIMS, New Delhi conducts an interview round for both of the posts separately. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility / educational qualification are invited for the interview round. The candidates who are shortlisted for the post of Research Assistant are appointed on a contractual basis. They are appointed for an AIIMS funded intramural research project. Eligible candidates are shortlisted as Medical Social Worker under a certain project. The title of the project is “Reducing premature mortality due to CVDs (Cardio vascular diseases)- identification of delays and barriers to acute cardiac care in National Capital Region -Delhi (NCR)”. No Travel Allowance is provided for candidates to appear for the interview round.
