The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan is all set to announce the results for class 10 and 12 board exams today, i.e. May 23, 2022. Reportedly, the evaluation process is already complete and the results will be declared any time today. However, an official confirmation from the board’s end is still awaited. As and when the results are declared, students can check the same from official websites – rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajresults.nic.in. The class 10 and 12 board exams were conducted between March 24 and April 26, 2022. For class 12, the practical exams were held in January, 2022.
According to a report by TimesNow, the RBSE 10th and 12th results are going to be released separately, for which the dates are expected to be announced today. Previous year trends further show that the class 12 results will be announced first and then the class 10 results. In that case, the class 10 results are expected to be released in June, 2022. Details regarding re-examination and compartment exams will be declared later, once RBSE announces class 10 and 12 results.
RBSE Passing Marks
As per the passing criteria, every student needs to score at least 33% marks in every subject to pass the exam. For subjects that have theory and practical papers, the student needs to pass separately in both of them. In case a student fails in at least two subjects, then they will be allowed to appear for the supplementary exam.
Reports further suggest that more than 20 lakh students have appeared for the RBSE 10th and 12th exams. The exam further took place at 6074 exam centres. Keeping in mind the high number of students, the results for both classes 10 and 12 will be announced separately. In 2021, the exams had to be cancelled keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic.
For checking the results, students will be required to log in using their exam roll numbers. The roll numbers can be checked from the admit cards. Following the previous year’s trends, the results will first be announced via a press conference and then the same will be available on the official websites.
Previous Year Statistics
Rajasthan Board has announced the class 10 results based on an alternative evaluation scheme in July, 2021. The pass percentage for class 10 stood at 80.63%. Similarly, for class 12, the Arts stream saw a pass percentage of 90.70%. For Science and Commerce streams, the pass percentages stood at 91.96% and 94.49%.
