Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will end the RAS Application form 2021 today on the official website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. The commission has announced around 988 vacancies for different posts on July 24, 2021. The registration process for RAS the same commenced on August 04, 2021. The RPSC preliminary exam is scheduled for October 27 and October 28, 2021. While the examination for the post of Lecturer is going to be held on November 11 and November 13, 2021.
RPSC has announced the age limit for the candidates according to which the minimum age limit is 21 years and the upper age limit is 40 years. Along with this, the candidate should be a Graduate in any stream from a recognised university.
Out of the 988 vacancies, 363 vacancies are reported for Rajasthan State Service while 625 is announced for Rajasthan Subordinate Services. The candidates can check out the steps mentioned below to fill the RPSC RAS Application form 2021:
Step 1: Visit the official application portal of RPSC, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in
Step 2: Next, on the homepage, click on Apply online and proceed further.
Step 3: Post this click on the ongoing recruitment and choose the RPSC RAS 2021 link and fill the registration form
Step 4: On the next page, choose the paper choices to appear for the GATE 2022 examination i.e. at least 2 and exam cities.
Step 5: Thereafter, choose Nationality, Adhaar card and click on OTP. Then, enter the OTP to verify the same
Step 6: After verifying these fill the application form with basic details, personal details, qualifications & experience and identification marks.
Step 7: On the upload page, upload scanned copies of the candidate’s photograph, signature in Hindi and English.
Step 8: In the end, pay the application fee relevant to the papers chosen via any payment channel and save a copy of the application form for future reference.
As per the official notification, the prescribed size limit for photographs and signatures is 50 kb to 100 kb and 20 kb to 50 kb. The application fee for General/OBC is Rs 350, OBC (EBC)/ EWS is Rs 250 and SC/ST category is Rs 150.
The RPSC RAS preliminary exam is an offline test held for a single paper i.e. General knowledge and General science with a maximum of 200 marks. The duration of the preliminary exam is 3 hours and the marks scored in the exam will decide if the candidates can appear for the Mains exam.
