Jai Narayan Vyas University will be administering the Rajasthan Pre Teacher Education Test or PTET 2022. This entrance examination is going to be conducted for admission to the B.Ed courses in the state. As per reports, the examination is going to be conducted on July 03, 2022. As many as 5,42,833 candidates have registered for the exam this year although the number of applications is less than that of last year. Admit cards for the exam will be released in due course of time.
As understood from the previous year’s trends, the Rajasthan PTET 2022 admit card is released at least fifteen days prior to the examination. With the exam date already in hand, it can be expected that the admit card will be released on June 18, 2022. Candidates who will be appearing for the exam are hereby expected to keep an eye on the official website – ptetraj2022.com. They should start visiting the website in mid-June for all updates.
This year, there has been a change in the conducting authority of the exam. Till 2021, the exam was conducted by Dungar College of Bikaner. However, for PTET 2022, the exam will be held under the jurisdiction of Jai Narayan Vyas University. All necessary preparations for conducting the B.Ed entrance exam are now underway. Reportedly, PTET 2022 is going to be held across 33 district headquarters for which a total of 2250 exam centres have been set up.
Two-level Exam
Rajasthan PTET 2022 is going to be a two-level exam. The first one is going to be for those candidates who hold a graduation degree. Candidates who will appear for the first level of the exam will be directly eligible for the two-year B.Ed or four-year B.Ed course. On the other hand, the second level is for pre-B.Ed candidates who will be appearing for the exam right after class 12. As such, they will be eligible for only four-year degrees that include BA B.Ed and B.Sc. B.Ed.
Exam Pattern
PTET 2022 exam is going to be conducted in an objective-type pattern. It is going to be conducted in the offline mode and the candidates have to answer multiple-choice questions on an OMR sheet. A total of 200 questions will be asked for 600 marks. The total duration of the exam will be three hours. It must be noted that there will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers. The question paper will comprise sections on Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude, Aptitude Test, General Awareness and Language which has both Hindi and English.
