Rajasthan Patwari 2019 Syllabus, Recruitment Rules released by Revenue Department

Government job aspirants of Rajasthan may take note of the new Revenue Department recruitment 2019 rules, and know the complete syllabus and exam pattern for Rajasthan Patwari Bharti.

Putting an end to the wait of lakhs of job seekers, the Revenue Department of Rajasthan released recruitment rules applicable from 2019. The notification elaborates the methods of recruitment, eligibility criteria, selection process, exam pattern, and syllabus for patwari post. 

The biggest change in patwari bharti is that now class 12th pass candidates cannot apply for the post. Graduation is mandatory.

Patwari post in the Rajasthan Revenue (Land Records, Settlement and Colonization) Subordinate Service Posts will be completely filled by direct recruitment, says the notification on new recruitment rules published at landrevenue.rajasthan.gov.in. Patwaris will be eligible for promotion to the post of Inspector, Land Record / Office Kanungo / Teacher (Land Record Inspector). 

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree plus any one of the 8 other qualifications will be eligible for the post. These are the 8 other qualifications, one of which are required to be eligible in addition to graduation. 

“O” or higher level certificate course conducted by NIELIT New Delhi/ DOEACC; Computer operator & programming assistant (COPA) or data preparation and computer software (DPCS) certificate organized under NCVT or SCVT; Degree or diploma in computer science or computer application; A 3 year diploma in computer science & engineering from a polytechnic; Degree in any stream of engineering and technology; Rajasthan state certificate course in information technology (rscit) conducted by vardhman mahaveer open university Kota; Senior secondary certificate with computer science computer application as one of the subjects; Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government.

Rajasthan patwari recruitment will be on the basis of a written exam of 3 hours. Its pattern will be like this. 

There will be 5 sections. General science, history, polity and geography of India, general knowledge, current affairs will be the first section of 25 marks. Then geography, history, culture and polity of Rajasthan will be next, of 20 marks. General english and hindi will be the third section and it will be of 15 marks. Mental ability and reasoning, basic numerical efficiency shall be the fourth section and it will be of 30 marks. Last section will be basic computer, of 10 marks. 

Thus the overall paper will be of 100 marks. 

Marks obtained by candidates will be used for determining merit. Examination will contain multiple choice questions with ⅓ negative marking for wrong answers. 

Scheme and syllabus of patwari bharti has been given in the schedule II of the notification. 

Now that recruitment rules have been finalized, the Rajasthan Patwari recruitment 2019 notification will be released soon. Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) is expected to release the notification and carry out this recruitment process. The official website of the board is rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in, where notification is looked forward to be available. 

As per reports, the total number of sanctioned posts of Patwari in the Revenue Department of Rajasthan are 12,252. Wherein over 8,500 posts are already full. There are vacancies in over 3,500 posts.
