A PDF document regarding the Rajasthan Common Entrance Test (CET) 2022 is making the rounds on social media since yesterday, May 23, 2022. Although claimed to be issued by the Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB), the press release was not found on the official website rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. It is not surprising that such unverified documents are being widely circulated on social media. Because the talks regarding Rajasthan CET 2022 have increased manifold amid anticipation of notification release.
Usually, CETs are conducted by state and central authorities for granting admission to various UG and PG courses. However, the Rajasthan CET 2022 shall be organised for government job recruitment. Although unverified, the Rajasthan CET 2022 press release mentioned certain important points.
# Frequency of Rajasthan CET 2022
The recruitment entrance test shall be conducted at least once every year, for both Schedule I and Schedule II posts. Furthermore, the Rajasthan CET 2022 scores shall be valid for a year from the date of result announcement.
# Rajasthan CET 2022 Attempts
Although the scores are valid for a year, there is no restriction on the number of attempts. So, those who do not qualify the test in 2022 will have several chances in the future.
# It is compulsory to qualify Rajasthan CET 2022 for Schedule I & II
Since the exam is qualifying in nature, it is mandatory for all applicants to clear the Rajasthan CET 2022 exam. Otherwise, they will not be able to apply or appear for further recruitment rounds of both Schedule I and Schedule II posts.
The minimum qualifying marks for each schedule shall be determined by considering various factors. RSMSSB will consider the performance of total candidates equal to 15 times the number of vacancies. Furthermore, the number of candidates belonging to reserved categories shall also be evaluated. Both factors will play a role in deciding the cut-off score for interview round.
# Rajasthan CET 2022 Schedule I, Schedule II
As per the unverified press release, a total of 8 state government bodies will participate in Schedule I recruitment, accounting for 9 distinct posts. Schedule II shall comprise of 7 organisations who will be recruiting for 7 distinct posts. Details regarding the vacancies under each post shall be mentioned in the Rajasthan CET 2022 notification.
Surprisingly, the PDF did not mention any important dates, schedule or category-wise application fee. It only provided information about possible details to expect in the Rajasthan CET 2022 notification. Candidates are advised to not believe such unverified news and insteead, rely on the official website rsmssb.rajasthan.ac.in for important updates.
