Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to announce RRB Junior Engineer CBT 1 Exam Dates soon. As per CEN 03/2018, the exam date for RRB JE 2019 is tentatively scheduled in April / May 2019. Hence, there is a possibility that Indian Railway will announce RRB JE Exam Date 2019 in the 1st or coming weeks of April 2019.
RRB JE 2019 CBT 1 will be held in a window of multiple dates and slots, all over India. The Indian Railway will first release notice for RRB Junior Engineer 2019 exam date, session, and center, notifying the date for the opening the login. On the notified date, the candidates will have to login by entering the user id and date of birth and then check the exam date, slot, and center. To check these, user id and date of birth will be needed.
After announcing the exam date, the Railway Board will release RRB JE 2019 admit card. It will also be issued online, on the official website of the RRBs, at least 10 days before the exam. It should be noted that RRB JE Exam Date and admit card is issued to those candidates who have positive application status. On the allocated exam date, the candidates have to carry the admit card as a print copy.
Along with the admit card of RRB JE 2019, the candidates also need to carry one passport size photograph and one valid id proof. A valid id card can be aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, passport, id card issued by the employer, etc. It has to be carried in original and the name and photo on it should match with that submitted in the application form.
The photograph to be carried should be the same as that uploaded in the application form. The size of the photo should be 35 mm X 45 mm and it should be a coloured one.
In all, RRB JE Recruitment 2019 is open for 13487 vacancies. Out of thee vacancies, 12844 vacancies are for Junior Engineer, 29 for Junior Engineer in Information Technology, 227 for Depot Material Superintendent, and 387 for Chemical & Metallurgical Assistance (CMA).
RRB JE CBT stage 1 will consist of 100 questions. The questions will be asked from Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning. Students are required to answer questions in 90 minutes. Candidates belonging to PwBD category will get 120 minutes for the exam. CBT 1 will be conducted in 15 languages which are English, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Odiya, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, and Malayalam. Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the exam will be shortlisted for the CBT stage 2.
