Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will announce RRB ALP Revised Result 2018 at 6:00 pm, on December 20, 2018. The login for RRB ALP opened at midnight and the some candidates got their updated scorecard from it. However, the login is not functional anymore and will re-open in the evening.
The message on the RRB ALP Result login clearly displays, “The Login to form will be available only between 20-12-2018 18 Hours 00 Minutes to 20-21-2019 23 Hours 55 Minutes”. Now, it is expected that RRB will re-open ALP login at 6:00 pm and the updated result for all the candidates will be displayed.
The result of RRB ALP / Technician 2018 will only be announced online, at the official website of RRB Malda, RRB Ahmedabad, RRB Secunderabad, RRB Ajmer, RRB Kolkata, RRB Allahabad, RRB Guwahati, RRB Bangalore, RRB Muzaffarpur, RRB Bhopal, RRB Bhubaneshwar, RRB Mumbai, RRB Bilaspur, RRB Chandigarh, RRB Trivendrum, RRB Chennai, RRB Jammu, RRB Patna, RRB Gorakhpur, RRB Ranchi, and RRB Siliguri.
There are two crucial components of RRB ALP Result 2018. First is the merit list and second is the score. The merit list of RRB ALP 2018 is a pdf in which the roll numbers of the qualified candidates are mentioned. The score of RRB ALP is announced via login. To check the score, the user id and password is needed.
While the merit list only contains the details of the qualified candidates, the score is released for all the candidates who appeared for stage 1 CBT. The details mentioned on the score are – name of the candidate, raw marks out of 75, pro-rata marks out of 100, normalized marks, shortlisted for 2nd stage examination (Yes/No), exam trade, and post preference.
The candidates who will qualify as per the RRB ALP Revised Result 2018 will be called for RRB ALP CBT 2. The exam date for CBT 2 are January 21, 22, 23, 2019. It will have Part A and Part B. The Part A of the examination will be used for calculation of the score. However, Part B of it will only be a qualifying exam.
The Part A of RRB ALP CBT 2 of the examination will be a 90 minute exam, in which 100 questions will be asked. All of these questions will be of multiple choice type and will cover various topics from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and General Awareness on Current Affairs.
To qualify part A, the candidates will have to score more than the minimum cutoff score. It is different for each category and is, 40% for UR candidate, 30% for OBC and SC candidates, and 25% for the ST candidates. On the other hand, Part B of the examination will be a 60 minutes exam in which candidates will have to solve 75 questions. All of these questions will be asked from the trade syllabus of DGET. The qualifying marks for RRB CBT 2 is 35%.
