The Rajasthan Medical Education Society, also referred to as Raj MES, has published notification for recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. There are respectively 51, 98, and 60 vacancies in these posts. Whereas the online application form can be filled and submitted at medicaleducation.rajasthan.gov.in until 12 midnight of August 19, 2019, the last date for submission of its hard copy with documents to Raj MES office is 5 pm on August 21, 2019.
This notification is in continuation to the previous notification dated June 14, 2019. Those who had applied in response to that notification do not need to apply again. However, they can edit their forms accordingly.
The posts advertised are for medical teachers in clinical and non clinical subjects under Raj MES. The various posts for professors, associate professor, and assistant professor are for 21 departments. Anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmacology, pathology, forensic medicine, PSM, general medicine, paediatrics, chest and TB, ENT, ophthalmology, psychiatry, lep and ven (skin), general surgery, orthopedics, ob and gyn, anaesthesia, radiodiagnosis, and dentistry are the departments with vacancies.
Applicants must meet qualifications as per norms of the Medical Council of India. However, the society clarifies, “where a qualification of M.Sc Medical is required, it means three years M.Sc Medical degree course”.
Age limit prescribed for the posts is between 20 to 70 years as on January 1, 2020. The maximum proportion allowed by MCI for M.Sc degree holders in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology departments are already filled; MBBS degree holders may apply for vacancies therein.

Applications are to be submitted via SSO Rajasthan. Those who already have an account in the Rajasthan Single Sign On portal, can login with SSO ID and password. Others have to create an ID first. Upon logging in, active recruitments are visible, and here the form needs to be filled. Hard copy of form with documents are to be sent to RajMES office at Directorate of Medical Education Jaipur.
