Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh is inviting applications from PG Medical degree holders to fill up 10 contractual vacancies for the post of Senior Resident. PGIMER has published a detailed advertisement in this regard at the website pgimer.edu.in. Aspiring candidates have to submit their bio-data as per proforma along with certificates on December 01, 2020. Walk-in-interview for selection of eligible candidates will be conducted on December 02, 2020 at 02.30 PM.
As per the detailed advertisement, one vacancy each is available in the specialties of Anesthesia, Biochemistry, ENT, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Medial Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics and Radio-diagnosis. The vacancies are for the post of Senior Resident in the aforementioned specialties and are available at the temporary OPD of PGIMER Satellite Centre, Sangrur, Punjab. Selected candidates are to be appointed contractually for a period of 1 year. Candidates will be paid fixed monthly salary of Rs 60000.
Candidates registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council are eligible to apply provided that they are within the maximum age of 40 years. However, relaxations on the maximum age are allowed for a period of 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per government norms. In addition, candidates must have an MD qualification in the specialty that they are applying for. Candidates must also have a Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule of Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
Selection of eligible candidates is to be done through walk-in-interview scheduled to be conducted on December 02, 2020, at Committee Room, Kairon Administrative Block, PGIMER, Sector 12, Chandigarh from 02.30 PM. Eligible and intending candidates are advised to appear at the interview only after carefully reading the detailed employment notification and ensuring that they have fulfilled all the specified eligibility conditions for recruitment. On the day of the interview, candidates are required to bring with the application/bio-data in triplicate along with documents and testimonials. In addition, candidates must also carry multiple copies of passport-sized photographs. Original documents have to be produced in the interview.
Candidates willing to take part in the interview process have to submit three copies of their brief bio-data on the proforma attached along with copies of documents indicating age, qualification, experience and caste at the Recruitment Cell on December 01, 2020. The format for application/bio-data is available for download the institute’s website i.e. pgimer.edu.in. Candidates must not forget to include three copies of the self-attested copies of each document with the application form.
