Power Grid Corporation of India Limited is inviting online applications for apprenticeship training recruitment. PCIL has published notifications for the recruitment of eligible candidates into Apprenticeship posts in all the regions. This includes the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Region. The detailed notifications for each region are available at the official website i.e. powergridindia.com. Eligible candidates who are willing for the apprenticeship training can apply as per the schedule of application for each region. The application process for Eastern Region-II is ongoing from June 24 and will end on July 23, 2020. The application process for Northern Region-II started on June 22 and will end on July 12, 2020. The application process for Northern Region-III has started on June 22 and will end on July 10, 2020. Applications for posts in Odisha Project started on June 18, 2020, and will end on July 8, 2020. The application process for Southern Region-I has started on June 15 and will end on July 05, 2020. The application process for Western Region-II has started on June 15 and will end on July 04, 2020.
PCIL has highlighted the available trades in which, the vacancies for Apprenticeship trainee posts are available across the regions. These trades include ITI-Electrical, Diploma (Electrical & Civil), Graduate (Electrical/Civil/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering), Diploma in Office Management, Executive (Human Resource), Assistant (Human Resource) and Secretarial Assistant.
In order to apply for different trades, candidates need to have the corresponding essential qualification as highlighted by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. Candidates need a full course in ITI (Electrical) to apply for the trade. Full time 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Civil is required to apply for the relevant post. Full time 4 years B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering in the relevant discipline is required to apply for Graduate Electrical/Civil/Electronics & Telecommunication trades. Class 10th pass candidates with 50% marks and having CTS/NCVT Trade certificate in Secretarial Practice are eligible to apply for apprenticeship in Secretarial Assistant trade. MBA (HR)/MSW/PG Diploma in Personel Management candidates are eligible to apply for the trade of Executive (HR). Those having a B.A. or B.B.A degree can apply for Assistant (HR). Candidates who have obtained their essential qualification, not before 02 years from the date of publication of the advertisements are eligible to apply.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website as stated above. Before applying at the PCIL websites, candidates have to register at the MHRD website (for Degree/Diploma in Engineering candidates) or apprenticeship registration websites i.e. apprenticeship.gov.in/apprenticeshipindia.org (ITI/Executive (HR)/Assistant (HR)/Secretarial Assistant). The Registration number generated at these websites must be entered into the application form of PCIL to complete the application process.
