Animal Husbandry Veterinary Services, Karnataka has released a notification to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Inspector. The conducting body has released a total of 115 vacancies out of which 83 are for Veterinary Assistant and 32 are for Veterinary Inspectors. Candidates are advised to download the advertisement with notification number App / Staff-03 (2) VV-69 / 2020-21, from the official website, to know about the vacancies in detail. The official website for the same is ahvs.kar.nic.in. Aspirants can submit their applications only through the online procedure from July 01, 2020, towards. Candidates must ensure that their application form is submitted before the last date which is August 14, 2020.
To fill the application form for the Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Inspector posts, candidates have to first visit the official website. Link to submit the application form is made available under the ‘recruitment’ tab present on the main page. Here candidates have to fill up the application form by clicking on the ‘online application’ link. Once they are done with filling the form, they must proceed to upload the photograph, signature and print the challan. After candidates are done with all the steps they must take a print out of the filled application form to keep it safe for future reference.
As mentioned above, candidates have to pay the application fee for the Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Inspector through the offline procedure. They have to generate the challan through the website and then submit the fee through e-payment post office only. To generate challan, candidates have to log in using the application ID that is provided after the successful application form submission. Aspirants who belong to General category have to pay Rs.520/- and scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates have to pay Rs. 270/- as the application fee.
Candidates have to be sure that they satisfy the educational criteria and the age limit that Animal Husbandry Veterinary Services, Karnataka has prescribed in the notification. Aspirants who have completed 18 years of age can apply for Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Inspector. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 35 years, 38 years for Backward Class and 40 years for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates. Candidates should be mentally and physically healthy for the Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Inspector. To apply for Veterinary Assitant candidates must have passed Diploma examination in Veterinary Health or Vocational Educational Course (Department of Postgraduate education) in Karnataka for the two-year employment-based course. Those candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology with Biology as an optional subject from a recognized university are eligible for the post of Veterinary Inspector.
