Panvel Municipal Corporation (Panvel Mahanagarpalika), Maharashtra is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up various medical and paramedical vacancies in COVID Care Centers. The recruitment is to be done on a contractual basis and PMC has notified multiple vacancies through a detailed recruitment notification published in this regard. Through advertisement dated 12/07/2020, Panvel Municipal Corporation has advertised a total of 168 vacancies bifurcated across various medical & paramedical category posts. There are 05 vacancies available for the post of Physician and 03 for the post of Part time Physician. 05 vacancies are available for the post of Anesthesiologist. There are 20 vacancies for the post of Medical Officer while another 50 vacancies are available for the post of Medical Officer (Ayush). 30 vacancies are available for the post of Staff Nurse, 50 vacancies are available for the post of Health Worker and 05 vacancies are available for the post of Pharmacist.
Candidates who are eligible are to be selected for an appointment to the aforementioned vacancies for a contractual period. The period of the contract is 06 months only. During the contractual employment, selected candidates are compensated with monthly consolidated pay. Candidates appointed to the post of Physicians are entitled to receive payment of Rs 1,50,000 per month while Part-time Physicians are entitled to receive Rs 1,00,000 per month. Anesthesiologist post holders are entitled to receive monthly compensation of Rs 1,20,000 per month. Candidates appointed to the post of Medical Officer are entitled to be compensated with Rs 80,000 consolidated pay every month. Those who are appointed to the post of Medical Officer (Ayush) are entitled to receive a monthly consolidated pay of Rs 50,000. Candidates appointed to the post of Staff Nurse is eligible to receive compensation of Rs 25000 per month. Health Worker and Pharmacist post holders are entitled to receive Rs 20,000 consolidated pay per month.
PMC has indicated that only candidates living in the jurisdiction of Panvel Mahanagarpalika are eligible to apply for the recruitment due to constrains of cross-district mobility imposed by the government in time of the Corona pandemic. Candidates must however have the minimum educational/professional qualifications as specified in the detailed notification. An MBBS degree or MD (Medicine) is required to apply for the post of Physician or Part-time Physician. An MBBS degree and a degree or diploma in Anesthesia is required to apply for the post of Anesthesiologist. Candidates with an MBBS degree are eligible to apply for the post of Medical Officer. Candidates with a BAMS/BUMS/BHMS degree are eligible to apply for the post of Medical Officer (Ayush). Those having qualifications of GNM/B.Sc. Nursing and registration with Nursing Council are eligible to apply for the post of Staff Nurse. Candidates who have passed HSC and having ANM qualifications and necessary registration with Maharashtra Nursing Council are eligible to apply for the post of Health Worker. Candidates with D.Pharma/B. Pharma qualifications are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist.
