Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the admit card for Junior Assistant 2019 exam at opsc.gov.in. With it, the exam date has been announced. OPSC junior assistant exam will be held on December 7 and 8, 2019.
To download the admit card, candidates need to go to opsc.gov.in. then click “programme nNotice including list of admitted candidates for conduct of written examination in connection with recruitment to the posts of jr. asst. in the office of OPSC [Advt. No. 09 of 201920]”. On the next page, one can see different notices and links.
Clicking the more option against “download admission certificate & instruction to candidates for the written examination to be held in connection with recruitment to the posts of jr. assistant in office of OPSC [Advt. No. 09 of 2019-20]” leads to opsconline.gov.in/dnld/091920_W/downloadac091920.php which is the direct link to download admit card. On the contrary, clicking the attachment link against “programme notice including list of admitted candidates for conduct of written examination in connection with recruitment to the posts of jr. asst. in the office of OPSC[Advt. No. 09 of 201920]” opens the exam date notification.
The notice provides date for exam to post of junior assistant in group C in the office of the Odisha Public Service Commission. On December 7, 2019, paper I that is language test on Odisha and English will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. End time will be 4.40 pm for PWD candidates.
Then on December 8, 2019, paper II general knowledge will be held in the first sitting from 10 am to 11 am, wherein exam will end at 11.20 am for PWD candidates. In second sitting, that is from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm, paper III of mathematics and basic computer skills will be held, with exam ending at 5.30 pm for the physically challenged. The same notice contains exam centers list, and list of candidates provisionally accepted to appear in the exam.
Exam will be held at 33 centres. A total of 11495 candidates have got the green signal to take the test.
The recruitment notification was released in September. It is for 30 vacancies, wherein 15 are for UR, 5 for SC, 7 for ST, and 3 for SEBC.Online applications were accepted from September 24 to October 23, 2019; bachelors degree holders between 21 to 32 years old were invited to apply. Application fee could be paid until October 31, 2019.
OPSC Junior Assistant notification 2019 contains the scheme, subject, syllabus of exam in appendix I. Standard of the exam will be of higher secondary standard. Those who qualify the 400 marks test will be called for the practical skill test.
Exam will consist of paper I language test in English and Odia of 100 marks, 2 hours. Then there will be paper II general knowledge of 100 marks, 1 hour. Paper III will have 100 marks of mathematics, and 100 marks for basic computer skill; combined paper will be of 400 marks.
