Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued the admit card for Assistant Executive Engineer today. The exam is being held for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical) in group A of Odisha Engineering Services under the Department of Water Resources.
The written examination for the post of Ass. Executive Engineer(Civil/Mechanical) will be held in five zones on December 15, 2019 ie., Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Behrampur, Balasore, Sambalpur. The exam is being conducted in two sessions; 1st and 2nd session. The exam timings are 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 02:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Candidates must note that admit card will not be sent by post or any other mode. It is available only in online mode.
How to download Admission Certificate?
The admit card is available online at the official website, opsc.gov.in. Now, on the hompage of the official webiste find the link “Download Admission Certificate & Instruction to Candidates for the Written Examination to be held in connection with Recruitment to the Posts of Asst. Executive Engineer (Civil/Mechanical) [Advt. No. 01 of 2019-20]”. A new page will appear on the screen, now candidates can download the admission certificate by entering the application no. and date of birth.
Candidates need to carry an admission certificate along with one valid photo identity proof to the exam centre. Candidates with physical disabilities can carry their valid certificate of disability in original and certified photocopy.
If candidates have trouble obtaining the admission certificate, they can send an email to [email protected] specifying their registration ID, roll number, name, date of birth and contact number.
The admit card contains the basic information such as roll number, date of birth, father’s and mother’s name, gender, name of exam, exam date, exam timings, reporting time, photograph, signature and exam instructions.
The test consists of two phases: a written test of the objective type and a viva test. OPSC AEE 2019 will be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen-paper test. It consists of two papers ie. paper I and paper II. The exam is of 3 hours duration and consists of 180 multiple choice questions.
OPSC AEE answer key 2019 will be released by f Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on the officail webiste, opsc.gov.in. The answer key will be released in the pdf format for both mechanical and civil engineering.
After the release of answer key, the result will be declared at the official website. 90% weightage is carried by means of written test and 10% weightage is carried by means of a viva voice test. The total number of marks is 400 marks.
There is a total number of 356 vacancies for executive assistant civil engineer and 33 executive assistant mechanical engineer.
