Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited has released a recruitment notification for the post of Field Medical Officer, General Duty Medical Officer, Medical Officer (Occupational Health). A total of 24 vacancies are announced for ONGC recruitment 2020. Candidates interested in the recruitment can download Advertisement No.1/2020- Tripura Asset from the official website, ongcindia.com. The selection for the announced posts is scheduled to be done either by walk-in-interview or through the online mode on July 22, 2020. Interested candidates can submit their application forms before the last date which is July 21, 2020.
Out of the total vacancies, 20 are for Field Medical Officer, 03 are for General Duty Medical Officer and 01 for Medical Officer (Occupational Health). Shortlisted candidates receive Rs. 75,000/- for Field Medical Officer and Rs. 72,000 for General Duty Medical Officer and Medical Officer Occupational Health.
Candidates must have acquired MBBS degree from a recognized university to apply for Field Medical Officer, General Duty Medical Officer, Medical Officer (Occupational Health). Besides, registration of applicants with the Medical Council of India is mandatory. Preference is given to those who have training in Occupational health or public health or occupational medicine for Medical Officer (Occupational Health) post. Although, the experience is desirable for all post. There is no maximum age limit for ONGC recruitment.
To apply for the announced post, download the prescribed application form from ongcindia.com. Applicants have to submit the form and documents to athawale_b@ongc.co.in. A copy of all the form and certificate should also be submitted to hr_tripura@ongc.co.in. Candidates have to submit the application form in the prescribed format, certificate of qualification, registration certificated council, experience certificate if applicable, training certificate, passport size photograph, caste/community certificate, photo ID proof such as aadhar card, PAN Card, Driving License, Company’s ID, etc.
The selection process consists of two rounds. The first stage carries 70 marks. Marks in this round are given based on the educational qualifications and other qualifications that candidates have. Up to 60 marks are allotted for essential qualification and 10 marks for any relevant higher qualification. Shortlisted candidates are invited for the interview round which carries 30 marks. The face to face interview round may get conducted online this year due to COVID-19 pandemic. The mode and time for the interview shall be intimated to the candidates accordingly.
After both these rounds, a merit list is prepared. Appointment letter is given to the candidates who are able to qualify the interview and are placed higher in the merit list. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification to get information related to the reservation and other rules.
