ONGC Recruitment 2019 for 214 Vacancies: Job Alert for Maharashtra ITI Pass and Graduates!

ONGC Recruitment 2019

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) has recently released the recruitment 2019 notification for 214 vacancies. The Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise is inviting applications from residents of Maharashtra for the same.

The recruitment is for 8 different trades namely accountant (5 vacancies), assistant HR (125 vacancies), secretarial assistant (46 vacancies), electrician (5 vacancies), electronics mechanics (3 vacancies), instrument mechanic (8 vacancies), laboratory assistant (12 vacancies), computer operator and programming assistant (10 vacancies).

Requirement for the posts are Bachelors degree in Commerce (for Accountant), Bachelors degree BA or BBA (for Assistant HR), ITI in Secretarial Assistant Trade (for Secretarial Assistant), ITI in Electrician Trade (for Electrician), ITI in Electronics Mechanic Trade (for Electronics Mechanic), ITI in Instrument Mechanic Trade (for Instrument Mechanic), B.Sc. with PCM or PCB (for Laboratory Assistant Chemical Plant ), ITI in Lab. Asst Chemical Plant Trade ( for Laboratory Assistant Chemical Plant), ITI in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant Trade (for Computer Operator & Programming Assistant). A minimum 45% in aggregate, or 40% in case of SC, ST, PWD is required.

Candidates must be 18-24 yeard old, that is born between 5 August 1995 to 5 August 2001. However relaxation applies to reserved category. OBC NCL category candidates should be between to 18-27 years old. SC/ST candidates should be 18-29 years old. General-PWD age limit is 18-34, OBC-PWD should be 18-37, and SC/ST-PWD ought to be 18-39 years old.

6 Things To Submit With Application Form

  1. Class 10 certificate or Birth certifixate
  2. Semester-wise, year-wise mark sheets and graduation / ITI pass certificate
  3. Conversion certificate / formula issued by university or college
  4. SC / ST / OBC / Disability certificate if applicable
  5. Copy of Aadhaar card
  6. Copy of PAN card

Candidates may apply in one trade only.

ONGC shall carry out physical verification of documents prior to joining. An SMS will be sent to the selected candidates. They need to bring all the original documents along with self-attested copies.

The selection will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the minimum prescribed qualification and merit drawn thereon. In case if the merit number is same, a person with higher age will be considered. The shortlisted candidates have to serve a period of 12 months of apprenticeship training at ONGC Mumbai. They will receive a monthly stipend subjected to the periodic revision in minimum wages. The trainee is not eligible for any TA-DA / boarding or lodging expenses incurred in the period of training. Also, ONGC will not be providing any transportation facility or financial help during the trainee period.
