Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC LTD) is looking for Manager posts under various departments. The Corporation has also published an advertisement with No. 51/OMC at omcltd.in. As per the notification, OMC has announced 12 vacancies for the Managerial posts. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to submit their applications on or before November 18, 2020.
The post of OMC Manager is announced under Mining, Finance, Civil, Information Technology and Forest & environment disciplines. Out of the total 12 announced vacancies, 04 vacancies are out for Manager (Min), 04 vacancies for Manager (Finance), 02 vacancies for Manager (Civil) and 01 vacancies for Manager (IT) and Manager (F&E) respectively. Candidates recruited under the Manager posts gets a monthly salary of Rs. 67,000/- to Rs. 2,08,700/-.
To submit the applications for the said posts, applicants must meet the eligibility as prescribed. To apply for Manager (Mining), aspirants must possess BE/ B.Tech in Mining engineering. A candidate who is an Associate/ Fellow member of ICAI/ICWAI can apply for Manager (Finance). Those who possess BE/ B.Tech degree in Computer Science/ IT or MCA or MBA/PGDM are eligible to submit their applications for Manager (IT). To apply for Manager (F&E), candidates must have passed B.Tech exam in Environmental engineering.
Apart from the educational qualifications, aspirants have to take care of eligibility in terms of experience, age limit etc. Interested candidates must have at least 04 years of work experience in the relevant field in any Government/ State PSU/ Central PSU/Other corporate houses. Their age should not exceed the upper age limit of 36 years as on September 30, 2020.
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application via offline mode only. For this, they first have to download the application form from the website, omcltd.in. The duly filled application form should be sent through speed post to General Manager (P&A), The Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd., OMC House, Bhubaneshwar – 751001. The envelope should be clearly marked with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____”. Along with the form, aspirants also have to submit the self-attested copies of the certificates and testimonials in support of qualifications.
Eligible candidates are shortlisted for Manager post based on the scrutiny of applications and personal interview round. Initially, OMC reviews the submitted applications and shortlisted candidates for the interview round. These aspirants have to appear for the interview along with original mark sheets, certificates and documents in support of age, qualification, 10th pass, caste and others. The final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the personal interview.
