Oil India Limited is looking for eligible candidates for the post of Geophysicist and Fire Service Officer and Operator – I. Candidates can download the notification for this recruitment from the official website, oil-india.com. The conducting body has announced 15 vacancies for Geophysicist and Fire Service Officer and 36 vacancies for Operator – I. Applications interested in the recruitment can present their candidature for Operator-I before September 18 and before September 29, 2020, for Geophysicist and Fire Service Officer.
As per the official notification, Oil India Limited will conduct a walk-in-interview to shortlist candidates for Geophysicist and Fire Service Officer. Eligible candidates can appear for the interview on September 21, 2020, for Geophysicist post and on September 22, 2020, for Fire Service Officer. They have to report at Oil India Limited, KG Basin Project 11-4-7, Nookalamma Temple Street, Ramaraopeta, Kakinada – 533004 Andra Pradesh, INDIA. To get selected as Operator-I, applicants have to appear for the written test and heavy vehicle driving test. The schedule for the same will be out in the due course of time.

Those who are applying for a Geophysicist post must have Masters in Applied Geophysics or M. Sc Tech in Applied Geophysicist. Candidate intending to apply for Fire Service post should possess BE / B. Tech in Fire Engineering. To apply for Operator-I post, applicants must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a government recognized board/ university. They should possess a minimum of 04 years old Professional Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence that is issued by the Government of Assam.
Other than the educational qualification, aspirants also have to fulfil the work experience requirements. To apply for Operator-I post, candidates must possess at least 03 years of work experience in driving heavy vehicles like cranes, trailers, oil fields etc. Candidates with minimum 02 years of work experience in land 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition in an E&P company or Geophysical Service Provider can appear for the interview against Geophysicist post. To apply for the Fire Service Officer, candidates must have at least one-year post qualification work experience.
Applicants appearing for the walk-in-interview have to carry filled-in biodata, original pass certificate, mark sheets, caste certificate, photo copies of these documents and 02 passport size photograph to the centre. Such candidates are not required to apply separately for the post.
The application procedure for Operator-I is conducted through online mode only. On successful registration, a unique registration number is generated which should be kept safe till the recruitment ends. Also, Rs. 200/- are charged as application fee from General/OBC candidates as the application fee. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/EWS candidates are exempted from the fee submission step.
