Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) is expected to release UPTET Answer Key 2018 after 3:00 PM. There is no official notice for the release of the answer key. However, various news papers are reporting that the answer key of UPTET 2018 will be available today, on November 21, 2018.
UPTET 2018 was held on November 18, 2018. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 were conducted on the same day. The unofficial answer key of UPTET 2018 by the coaching institutes was released on the same day. Now, the candidates are waiting for the official answer key. Since the exam has been held, the reports of UPTET Official Answer Key release are circulating. If the answer key will be available today or not, only time will tell.
The official answer key will be released by the Board, on upbasiceduboard.gov.in. In order to download it, the candidates will have to visit the official website and click on answer key link. Then, the candidates will be directed to a UPTET 2018 login page and to access it the registration number will be needed. Once, the login opens, the answer key will be available on the dashboard.
It should be noted that Board can also release the answer key in pdf format. However it will be release, it will be available for Paper 1 and 2 and for set A, B, C and D. While downloading the UPTET Official answer key, the candidates will have to make sure that they are downloading it for their paper and set. Using incorrect answer key for score calculate can lead to incorrect results.
To calculate score from the answer key, the candidates will have to cross check answers in the exam with that marked in the examination. Then, as per the marking scheme, the candidates will have to award 1 marks for correct answer. There is no negative marking in the examination. When the candidates will repeat this process for all the questions, the predicted score in the exam will be revealed.
There is no date for the release of UPTET 2018 result yet. However, it is expected that the result will be released on December 04, 2018. The Board will announced on the official website. Again, the registration number will be needed to access result login. The score of candidates in each subject, along with merit, will be given in it. There will be no provision to challenge it and it will be final. Candidates who will qualify as per the UPTET result will get eligibility certificate.
