NTA starts CMAT 2021, GPAT 2021 Registration; Exam on 22, 27 Feb

National Testing Agency is going to conduct the CMAT 2021 & GPAT 2021 exams on 22 & 27 February 2021. Registrations have commenced today.

The online registration process for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2021 and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2021 has started today at the official NTA website. CMAT 2021 and GPAT 2021 aspirants can register and submit the application form online at cmat.nta.nic.in and gpat.nta.nic.in respectively as per schedule. The official information brochures of both the national level exams are available at the respective websites.

Online registration and submission of application form for both the exams can be done from December 23, 2020, to January 22, 2021. The examination fee can be deposited using one of the specified online methods till 11.50 PM of January 23, 2021. In addition, registered candidates are to be allowed to make application form correction from January 25 to 30, 2021. NTA has announced that the CMAT 2021 and GPAT 2021 examinations are to be conducted on February 22 and 27, 2021 in two shifts.

How to register and apply for CMAT 2021?

At the homepage of the official websites for i.e. cmat.nta.nic.in, candidates have to click on “Apply for CMAT 2021” tab and then on “New Registration“. The registration form opens by clicking on “Click Here to Proceed” tab. Candidates have to register by entering personal details, address and choosing a password.

Registered candidates can log in to the website using the “Application Number” and “Password“. One must fill up the online application form by entering the correct details. The next step is uploading scanned images of photograph, signature and PWD certificate (for PWD candidates).

Once the document upload process is complete, candidates have to pay the fee through SBI/HDFC Bank/PayTM Payment Gateway using Debit/Credit card, UPI, Wallet or Internet Banking. It is advised that candidates print out the proof of the fee paid.

How to register and apply for GPAT 2021?

The procedure to register and apply for GPAT 2021 is similar to that of CMAT. At the official website i.e. gpat.nta.nic.in, candidates have to click on “Apply for GPAT 2021“. Thereafter, one must fill up and submit the registration form to generate the Application Number and Password.

Candidates can now log in to the website using the Application Number and Password to fill up the application form. Likewise, one must also upload the scanned images of recent photograph, signature and PWD certificate (for PWD candidates only.

The last step is to pay the application fee using one of the online channels among Debit/Credit card, UPI, Wallet or Internet Banking.

CMAT 2021 & GPAT 2021 Examination Fee

The application fee for both the CMAT 2021 and GPAT 2021 exams are similar. In order to apply for CMAT or GPAT 2021, General (Male) candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 2000.

Male candidates belonging to EWS, SC/ST, PWD and OBC-NCL categories have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 only. Female candidates and transgender candidates of all categories have to pay only Rs 1000 as application fee.

Overview of CMAT 2021 & GPAT 2021

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted to certify candidates for admission to management degree courses including MBA. Earlier, the examination was conducted by AICTE till 2018. The National Testing Agency is conducting the CMAT exam since the year 2019. Qualifiers are awarded a CMAT score based on which, they can get admission to management courses in the top B-schools of the country as well as other institutions.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is conducted for admission to M.Pharmacy programs. Similar to CMAT, this exam was also conducted by AICTE till 2018. Based on GPAT score, candidates can get admission in all AICTE/PCI approved institutes in India.
