National Testing Agency (NTA) is, as per the information bulletin of IIFT MBA 2020, supposed to release the IIFT admit card 2019 today on November 11, 2019. However today being the last date of form correction, admit card release stands postponed.

NTA was initially supposed to have the IIFT form correction window as November 5 to 7, 2019. Since the body had to re-open registrations for Jammu Kashmir candidates from November 4 to 8, 2019, thus the form correction process had to be postponed. Which led to the new dates for corrections being November 9 to 11, 2019. NTA is allowing candidates to do corrections in application form until 11.50 pm tonight, at iift.nta.nic.in.

When the new dates of form correction were announced, at that time only candidates had raised the concern that the dates were overlapping with admit card release date. It is not probable for the exam conducting body to accept corrections, and release admit card on the same day. Logistical concerns aside, form correction directly affects admit card because the final details filled in form only directly reflect in the admit card.

Up until yesterday, there had not been any notice from NTA about the issue. Today, being the scheduled IIFT admit card 2019 release date, candidates have been checking the website continuously for update on the matter.

Considering the matter, admission department of IIFT was contacted, that conveyed that admit card will not be released today. The IIFT admit card 2019 for MBA IB admission 2020 will be release by Friday. However the schedule is tentative as of now.

NTA was supposed to release UGC NET and CSIR NET admit cards on November 9, 2019. Though the admit card for CSIR NET was released, the agency could not issue it for UGC NET. In that case, NTA had published an official notification by end of the day addressing the matter and conveying the new date for admit card release. It is expected that NTA would do the same for IIFT 2020 as well.

IIFT 2020 or the IIFT MBA IB entrance exam is, as the name suggests, entrance exam for admission to IIFT in its MBA in International Business program. Held by the institute itself until last year, NTA has shouldered the responsibility of the exam from this year.

The exam is scheduled for December 1, 2019. Ten days after the exam, on December 11, 2019, result of the exam will be announced. Applications were accepted from September 9 to November 3, 2019, then reopened for a five days window for JnK candidates this month.

NTA shall conduct the exam as a computer based test of 2 hours, with all multiple choice questions. Not disclosing the exact exam pattern, NTA says in the exam bulletin, ” it generally consists of questions covering english grammar, vocabulary and comprehension, general knowledge and current affairs, logical reasoning, data interpretation and quantitative analysis.”
